Was pleasantly surprised by this place. It served our needs perfectly and is in a good location. If you are planning on staying here you won’t be disappointed. We will stay agin in the future.
Stayed here for a full week. Clean and beautifully decorated. Had almost everything we needed. Quiet neighborhood and deer every morning to greet us. It was only 12 minutes from my Grandmas house on Wollochett Bay.
Your home is just perfect. It was immaculate and so comfy. It has two generous bedrooms and a nice roomy bathroom. The kitchenette is just what you need on a vacation and thank Heaven for the washer and dryer that save on packing. Of course you would be remiss if you did not drool over the view of Horsehead Bay and the snow capped mountains in the distance. We are looking forward to staying in your cottage again during our next visit to our daughter.
Overall we had a nice stay. Things that could be improved include; hot plate should be replaced (old, rusty and didn't work very well), beds should be accessible from both sides, overall cleanliness needed help (cat hair, floors and dust under furniture all could be cleaner) and parking under fir trees left lost of debris on the car.

Disliked: Cleanliness
Adequate
It was a nice enough property. Owners are a busy family but, responsive to any issues. Some older kitchen supplies, a couple of clean but stained towels, couch well used.We bought a vacuum as we were a long stay.It suited our needs, had a pretty view, and we would stay there again. We bought a vacuum because we long stay.
Our grandparents live on the same penninsula so finding a place on the same street within walking distance didn’t seem possible until we found Jaime’s home. It allowed all of our family to be so close and helped to accommodate our infants. Jaime was even kind enough to give us some kids fever reducer for our one year old who was sick during our trip. Loved the pickle ball court and played with her son a few times. Absolutely plan on staying here again!

Girls trip Gig Harbor
Everything was neat but there was a layer of dirt all over the surfaces that was easy enough to clean but just inconvenient. There were several people staying behind us so parking was an issue as we parked in areas very close. I understood it to say beach access but in reality it is an extremely far walk and then down treacherous steps to the beach so several of us couldn’t get to it for obvious health reasons and age . It was certainly pleasant enough and roomy enough for the 3 older ladies ( sisters and Mother) that stayed but it had no stove so cooking was minimum , that was a big disappointment as we like to cook for ourselves and not have to eat out a lot.
Unfortunately the place was not clean. The floors had not been swept and the rugs weren't vacuumed. The front door was unlocked when I got there and some relative had left a laptop and papers on the sofa. The bed was made, but rumpled in the middle like someone had been lying there. The kitchen had no condiments except a cruet of oil. There was an opened bottle of soured milk in the refrigerator. The metal and plastic scrub pads were sitting in filth and rust. They reeked of mildew. There was a very old, rusty hot plate, an old toaster oven and a microwave. The unit is located over the owner's garage with a roll-up door that sounds like a medieval draw bridge, which is okay except between 5-6 am - when people kept leaving. The hosts need to understand that the shared rental process doesn't just take care of itself. There needs to be quality control and some attention to detail. It is in a very nice neighborhood.
What a hidden gem. Comfy, well equipped, private, sweet view of the Puget Sound. Host was communicative and responsive. We will most definitely be back. Thank you!
We truly enjoyed our time at the Cottage. The owners were incredibly kind and helpful, the property is beautiful, and we loved exploring the neighborhood. We are grateful did our time and experiences there!
