Every year we go to Blue Ridge and stay for the long weekend! This year we absolutely loved the layout of the place. The best part was the outdoor space. The guys hung out around the wood burning fireplace and us girl stared at the unbelievable view sitting around the gas firepit table and they left us birdseed and we watched tons of birds come and go. We loved it and will be back

We will definitely be back to the VUE Over Blue Ridge!!!!
The home is as amazing in person as it is in the pics and in a great, yet secluded, location. Fairly close to everything you could need. The views remind us what an amazing artist God is.

Incredible views and worth the (steep) drive. Interior decor could use updating and increased lounge furniture (furniture not very comfortable for extended lounging and not enough space for more than 6 in a space)

Thank you for your kind words and constructive feedback. We are glad to hear that you enjoyed the views and the location of our property. We appreciate your suggestions on how to improve the interior decor and the lounge furniture. We will take them into consideration for our future renovations. We hope to see you again soon and provide you with a more comfortable and spacious stay.
Beautiful home. Needs updated slightly. Needs better and more accurate directions. The steps going into the house are terrible. Very steep and very narrow. The mgmt company did not leave an extra paper towel roll, toilet paper or even Kleenex. What was left on the roll is what you got. Better bring plenty if you plan to visit. Also, the management company are not very accommodating and are actually very curt. You do not get any information about checking in, etc. until 1-2 days prior to arrival. Overall, a beautiful home that we thoroughly enjoyed and that accommodated 7 ladies comfortably.

Thank you for your feedback—we’re glad the home was beautiful and comfortably fit your group. We’re sorry to hear about the concerns with the entry steps and directions, and we’ll review both for clarity and safety.
Regarding supplies, our listing specifies that we provide a starter set of essentials like paper towels, toilet paper, and soap. We recommend guests bring additional items for longer stays, and we’ll make sure that’s clearly communicated moving forward.
Arrival details are sent 24 hours prior to ensure accuracy and security, but we understand the importance of feeling prepared and will continue refining that process. We appreciate your insights and are glad you enjoyed your stay overall.
This property is gorgeous! The view of the morning sunrise is something to behold with the lake, mountains and surrounding trees.
There were four couples, and we had everything we needed for a long weekend stay.
We even made our own mini triathlon Olympics with the activities: corn hole, ping pong and darts. There were more games at the house that entertained us as well.
I highly recommend staying at The Vue. We will return!

Beautiful cabin! Lots of amenities in the kitchen. Although we stayed during the month of January, we did not get use of all the outside wonderful lounging areas, except for the hot tub which was Nice! The cabin was decorated very nice. So many interesting decors in every room! The seating was awesome, inside and out! Few electrical lighting issues not in working order. Woke up to frozen water pipes one morning and did not have water until 3p.m. after thawed. Maintenance man never showed up (after he said he would) or delivered us bottled water. The next morning on check out day, it had snowed just a little and we could not leave the property. One visitor lost control of vehicle leaving first. Then, parked the slid vehicle and walked back up to cabin and stayed until we all were able to leave, after the sun melted the ice patches off the high curvy roads out to main road from cabin. Again, no help from maintenance to salt the roads (as they reported back they would).
Other than that, which all that added to the excitement, it was a wonderful stay. Beautiful views from the porches, main level and master bedroom. We would love to come back in the Spring, Summer or Fall months. We loved the drive up the curvy roads leading to cabin, just beware of weather conditions.

Thank you for taking the time to write your review. I am so sorry you didn't get the help required during your stay. I know that those few days were pretty crazy for everyone due to the weather but it's no excuse for someone saying that they are going to do something for you and then not doing it. Please forgive us for the lapse in communication. Next time you book with us please request the 10% loyalty discount. You more than deserve it. We hope to see you again soon!
