Spend your days soaking up the sun, drink in hand, toes in the sand, if you're seeking some good Vitamin Sea. Or live it up at one of the multiple nightclubs down the strip with live music at the bandshell and fireworks from the pier.

Family time is also an excellent option here with too many things Disneyworld about an hours drive away. Daytona Beach offers so much of everything to everyone.

The condo is located on the second floor. 10-15 from the speedway.

Great Little Condo

Easy check in and out. I stay in these condos right now during the week. I have stayed in a few and I must say, the neighbors were super nice, no trashy or questionable guest. Everyone was nice and polite. I felt safe.

Great location and price!

The host was very helpful and made the check-in/out process simple. The unit was slightly smaller than expected but there were only 2 of us and it was a great place to be for the weekend. Beach access, pool, and central to all the good spots at the beach. Would definitely book with this host again.

Property is described as a condominium. What they dont say is that it was formerly an appt complex probably bulit in the 70s. The owner of my unit kept it as best she could. The air conditioner was ancient and only pushed cold air. It did not humidify. Each units owner is responsible for upleep. Many units looked abandoned as were cars thar never left the parking lot. And looked abandoned as well Lighting was very poor and parking limited and a challenging. I would never recommend that anyone with means better ever stay there. I will never use sight ever again.

Cute but needs a deep clean

We stayed over the weekend for Rockville and while the listing looked like a cute little apartment that was just redone it was not. We encountered roaches.. all the flooring discolored and needing a deep scrub. Opening the blinds was a dusty mistake. The bathtub had an open hole in it (looking to be missing a part just wide open). My husband dropped his pin and while looking for it under the dresser we found a pill that wasn’t OTC and even more dust with multiple roach traps. This rental definitely needs some cleaning and it would probably be amazing. I hate to give a bad review but I had some high hopes when booking and seeing the pictures. When I informed the host about us killing roaches she just said Thank you…

Never go to jewels shores

Vrbo should have all my information and frustration s check in front door to hotel locked. Couldn’t use internet to do anything. Vrbo gave us wrong key number for our unit which was suppose to be ocean front and wasn’t. Manager never answered our calls because he was too busy with construction on front wall when we finally met up with him he gave us room number and said he had to go to a meeting. The entire day was wasted after driving 18 hours. There is still somuch more more I don’t have the time to go on. Most miserable hotel we ever stayed at in my life and I am 80 years old. I do have to say that vrbo compensated us but I don’t think enough for what we went through. We were on phone with them for hours. I spoke with eight reps.

Hi Christine- I am very confused as the owner of the condo ( not hotel ) by your review. I tried communicating with you 5 times through VRBO and you did not communicate. I also wrote you through email stating to please communicate through VRBO . I also called VRBO twice to ask them to communicate with you to reach out via messages. I have NO a property manager at my condo who could have helped you. I am the owner and the only one who has unit number and code to enter the property which j am female. I wish you would have responded to my multiple attempts at reaching you or VRBOs multiple attempts but you refused. You did however message through that system originally showing you could use the messaging system. I have reported this review and your stay to VRBO.

Check-in Disaster

The condo is cute, but it smells like smoke. And because of the hurricane there’s no beach access. Those were minor issues compared to our disastrous check-in. I received a friendly email from our host after booking. She said we’d receive more info closer to check-in. Days prior to trip I got a confirmation from VRBO with the address. I assumed this was the info we needed to check in. We arrived a little after 4pm, went right to the condo. I pulled up the email and realized then the email did not include the door code needed to enter into the condo. We walked to the front desk, but it was closed for the day. We tried to reach the host, but she did not respond to my messages. We called VRBO. They could not reach the host. They connected us with rebooking dept who kept us on the phone for 4 HOURS! They said they’d reimburse us (still haven’t yet) and rebook us. They offered to rebook us at a hotel miles away from the beach. Since our reservation was on the beach, we wanted to stay ON the beach, not miles away. After sitting in our car for 4 HOURS on hold with VRBO they found a hotel on the beach. We agreed to stay there. It was a roach motel. No joke, walking in we saw a roach in the closet and a spider falling down from the ceiling. We called VRBO, they said there was nothing they could do. We were about to drive home and forget this awful experience. Finally, the host replied with the check in info, no apology. IF you book, make sure you have the door code before you arrive.

Hi Katie - this response is coming as a shock as I had no idea you had this experience. The door code was sent 1 hour late with instructional video on how to get in (it’s sent on a system automatically so I’m not sure why there was a delay). However the same instructions with the YouTube video and code were sent 3 times to you on the day of your arrival- they are quite lengthy but have both YouTube video and code needed to enter. You did state you were able to get in and that it was “decorated so nice”. I never received a call from VRBO.

The place looked much larger in the pictures. The bed was not comfortable. The fitted sheet came off and wrapped around my head all night. The air conditioner blew right in my husband’s face and made him sick. The neighborhood was sketchy and the traffic was loud all night. We left a day early. 😩

Nice and cozy

My boyfriend and I stayed here a couple days so we could enjoy the world’s best beach. The condo was very clean. It’s not huge, but we had what we needed. Don’t expect to do your own cooking, as there is no equipment to do so. But we loved hanging out at the beach. We even met a friendly neighbor who helped us get our beach umbrella up! We would definitely consider booking here again!

Great Place!!

If your thinking about renting a place on the beach and it’s only one or two people you need to check this place out! Know it’s small and what you see in the photos is what you get. This place was cheaper than a hotel and and very nice.. The bed was very comfy. The property manager Trisha was very quick in answering questions. The location is perfect!!
