Property manager Tracy was super responsive to our needs. We like the location as it is about 3 bus stops from eagle with the bus stop 3mins walk away.
This is our second stay at the Cozy Bear condo. The condo is clean, well equipped and in walking distance of The Village. We had a great time hiking around lakes and riding to the top of the mountain.
The location is perfect for getting to town or getting to the slopes. We had a ton of snow but the road maintenance on the street was great at keeping us able to move around.
Perfect little cozy place for a ski trip or just to get away
Some of our family wanted to camp at June Lake. Some of us didn’t. :) This was a great location to be close, but comfortable. The beds are super comfy!! Perfect place to come after a long day at the campsite!
The home was comfortable, clean and a great location. We walked to the Village for dinner, hiked with our dog around three lakes and enjoyed the beautiful mountains. The condo has a great couch, comfortable beds and was well stocked. It was very comfortable We would love to come back.
Very helpful host provided info for us and checked in on us during a blizzard in mammoth. Condo maintained a warm temperature readily and kept us cozy amidst one of mammoth’s recent blizzards.
Our family of 3 and dog had a great stay in this condo. It is very convenient to mammoth village and brewing, easily walkable via the bike path. Easy drive to hiking, lakes, and the mountain.
Clean, well supplied, and comfortable for our family. Hope we can make it back someday soon!
We came in October and used Mammoth as a home base to explore the fall leaves. It was a beautiful time of year and not crowded in town. This condo was updated, and had all the things we needed. Definitely will be back! We usually come every summer to go fishing. This location is great for taking walks with the dog and not so busy but close enough to downtown if needed for shopping
This cabin was perfect for our family of 4. There are two bedrooms downstairs of decent size and one full bath downstairs. Then on the second floor is another full bathroom which was kind of nice to have it separate. The rest of the upstairs in one large great room with a nice kitchen and balcony as well... very spacious feeling upstairs. The location is 2 stops on the free trolley to Eagle for easy skiing access or 2 stops to the Village. We really appreciated the unit being pet friendly and everything was clean and well stocked. We would definitely stay again. Thank you!
We won't use your website again. It is not correct you have hidden fees.
We won't use your website again. It is not correct you have hidden fees. It would help if you had that listed before we have to confirm the stay. By doing that, you lost a customer
This property was great and the owners were responsive. My only advice would be that if you travel in the winter be prepared with your vehicle, even with chains on it was very hard to get up the hill because of the ice. The parking was sooo convenient & the condo was adorable!
We appreciated the pet-friendliness (our kitty loved the place), the well-stocked kitchen and bathrooms, and the convenient location. Would stay here again anytime.
I loved the atmosphere of the place. I liked that we can park our car right in front. It was Great to have kitchen appliances and dishes to use. I will totally recommend!
My husband and I worked remotely from this place for a week. It had everything you could want including 2 standing desks and great internet. It’s a beautiful area and we loved taking walks around the neighborhood.
This place was super cute and was close to everything. The bedrooms were cozy. It was also very clean. I love that they stocked the kitchen with everything you’ll need. Parking was not bad at all.
It was just as I expected. No issues. I'd stay there again if available.

About the host
Hosted by Tracie White
Hi - we’re Jerry and Christy from Ventura County. Our local property manager and your Host, Tracie White, lives nearby and is always available to ensure your stay is smooth and worry-free.
We love escaping to Mammoth Lakes whenever we can. You’ll often find us hiking, paddle-boarding on the lakes, or exploring the trails with our cattle dog, Sophie.
We treat this townhome as our own mountain retreat and have set it up with the same thoughtful touches we enjoy during our extended stays. We love sharing it with guests so they can get away from the city, breathe in the fresh pine air, and make their own unforgettable memories in the Eastern Sierra.
Why they chose this property
We fell in love with this townhome the moment we walked upstairs. The bright, south-facing living area with vaulted ceilings and a large glass slider instantly frames the beautiful Sherwin mountain views — it feels like you’re surrounded by nature.
What we enjoy most about the neighborhood is how peaceful and convenient it is. It’s a quiet residential area, yet you’re incredibly well-connected. Just steps away is direct access to the Lake Mary Road Bike Path. From there you can head one direction toward Twin Lakes Vista and the Lakes Basin for hiking and fishing, or the other way to The Village for restaurants, shopping, and free summer concerts. Everything we love about Mammoth is easily reachable by bike, foot, or the free trolley.
What makes this property unique
What makes our property unique is that it truly feels like a real mountain home rather than a typical vacation rental. Because we stay here for extended periods ourselves, we’ve thoughtfully set it up for comfortable living — with an organized kitchen full of open shelf space, dressers in each bedroom for easy unpacking, convenient hooks for gear, and a clutter-free environment so you can truly settle in and relax.
The south-facing design floods the vaulted living area with natural light and offers beautiful Sherwin mountain views from the large glass slider and private upper balcony — perfect for morning coffee or evening BBQs.
We also love the location in this quiet residential pocket of Tyrolean Village: direct access to the Lake Mary Road Bike Path right behind the complex, just a short walk or quick trolley ride to Eagle Lodge and The Village. It’s one of the best spots in Mammoth for enjoying all that Mammoth has to offer.
