What a wonderful place to stay! We stayed here with our six kids ages 1 -16 and left every minute of it! My teens caught monster rainbow trout in the Big Horn River, my little kids were thrilled with the secret garden, and we all swam for hours at Star plunge in Thermopolis!
Beds were comfy and decor was charming!
such a lovely, peaceful home. we enjoyed being here… the horses, the dogs, cows mooing across the river, deer in the fields, etc! so close to thermopolis and all the river docks. we went to downtown, dinosaur museum, and local history museum. everyday, we enjoyed the soak in the free hot springs. put the kayak in the river 3 times. docks were so convenient. a fabulous trip!
The cabin was our favorite part of our vacation, cute and clean! The horses and dogs on the property kept my girls entertained and the location was just what we wanted, quiet and out of town! Lots of wildlife to see!
This is a great remote place to relax and enjoy nature. The horses and dogs were an extra bonus. The history of the cabin and personal touches make it interesting too. Lots to do in the area. We had a fantastic time!
Great place to relax at the end of the day after floating the river or fishing the canyon.

Why they chose this property
This home has been a special place to many. My Grandfather built this charming cabin. As a little girl I often got to watch and help my Grandpa as he worked. My Great grandmother hand painted all the tiles throughout the cabin. Many other family members have art, talents and love they have provided here as well. My Grandfather passed away many years ago now and this has been a special place of peace and legacy to us all.
What makes this property unique
This home is just so charming and cozy! Being by the river and in the quiet country carries peace and serenity. The spiral staircase, hand painted tiles and cozy loft add a memorable charm. We hope you find your favorite things about this place and build memories to cherish here as well.
