About this property
Quiet Barn on Big Horn River, Thermopolis, WY
Off the road - On the river.
Out of town - In the country.
Fresh air - No stress!
Out of your head - into your soul. (JMuir).
Just south of Thermopolis, Wyoming, off Hwy 20 which goes on to Yellowstone.
Fish or float from private boat ramp on the Big Horn River.
Second closest vacay place to Boysen Reservoir.
Great 3-hour float to Hot Springs State Park.
After hours, relax to a 2Bd/1Bath, 2-story apt. With full kitchen and laundry.
Sleep in a queen, double or upper-bunk twin bed. Bathroom has a shower. Family friendly.
The “Darn Barn Rules” are available in the kitchen. Kitchen has all appliances large and small, dishes, BBQ necessities, basic seasonings, coffee --
And we are happy to supply any additional, if available, items you need to make your stay and play in Thermopolis as enjoyable as possible.
The space is a Morton barn built in 2016 with comfortable living spaces and modern conveniences. The property includes a covered porch/patio with an electric BBQ grill, picnic table, views, chairs, trees, wildlife, boat ramp and a cantilevered pier over the Big Horn River. There's plenty of parking room and carport for boats, trailers and vehicles. Enjoy the red rock cliffs and expansive views and observe wildlife and floaters on the river. Very near the Yates-Roberts Ferry Crossing at 4-mile Bridge.
Guests have access to the entire property except the owner's house, unless invited.
We have a friendly, gentle, socialized black lab who loves to play. We love dogs just as much as the next dog lover.
However:
A guest dog is acceptable ONLY UPON APPROVAL. Please be mindful of your furry friend. The dog is not allowed on the furniture. Pick up poop. Leashing or crating is required. The dog may not be left unattended. Bring your own doggie bed, food/water bowls and other pet necessities. Please work with us so we can continue to allow pets. Carpets are professionally cleaned after a pet stay so we do ask for a one time $60 pet fee. Tell your dog I said hi!
