The Trolley schedule states that the trolley should arrive about 38 minutes past the hour but take this with a grain of salt. Delays may be caused by weather, traffic, construction, etc. You can track the exact location of the trolley on the Deadwood Trolley Tracker on cityofdeadwood.com. The cost of the trolley is $2.00 per ride.
Please note: The home is heated with an in-floor radiant system powered by an instant hot water heater. During colder months you may hear the system cycling on/off as it draws on the instant hot water heater, particularly at night. This is normal and necessary to maintain warmth in winter, but if you're sensitive to noises, please take note of this.

Had a great stay at a super convenient location. Only possible complaint would be some pump that goes on and off with the water makes it hard to sleep in when people start to wake
We had some problem finding it cause we went up the right side drive at first but when we went out onto the main road we could see it since we've seen your picture.... The only problem we had was the upstairs room. Air conditioner was not working and it was 88 the first day we were there.... The lady at the chubby chipmunk place was great. We ended up buying a few t-shirts and an outstanding chocolate treats... I didn't gamble at all but my two co-workers did and the one won 1,000 on a 20 bill, one of the slot machines... The top three things number one Black hills helicopter ride in over Mount Rushmore... Number two. Dahls chainsaw art outstanding work..... And the one day we went up to devil's Tower got some great pictures ... Housekeeping, had done a great job.... And we had great weather the days we were there so it was a fun getaway trip. Should have been a couple days longer
We really enjoyed this comfortable and clean stay. I also like that it was not in the heart of deadwood as we aren’t into gambling. Had no problems with check-in and communication with the owner went very well. Would definitely recommend this stay to anyone visiting the Black Hills area.
This property was perfect for our stay. When we arrived at 7pm the cleaners had not finished, but I contacted the owner and she had them come back (not sure the reason they had not finished) they finished and we got our cleaning fee refunded which was very nice. I would stay here again.
It was conveniently located to everything we wanted to do in the area. House set up was perfect. The location was not as private as we thought but it definitely was clean and quiet at night.
This was a very nice house. We liked the location it was spot on for us. Parking was nice because it was a bit hidden and we could park our pickups x2 trailers x2 and side by sides x2 and just the perfect amount of space and wasn’t worried that people were going to mess with them! Close to the action for concert and gambling!! We enjoyed our stay!!
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at ‘Home Base’. The home was perfect for our group of 4. Located in between Deadwood and Lead, we enjoyed the convenience of easily visiting each community.
The cabin was very comfortable and stocked with everything we needed. At night the kids made use of the many board games that were provided. We really enjoyed our stay!
