Beautifully appointed. Lovely views. Pleasant surroundings. Less than a block from The Thursday Club where our cousin was married. We celebrated our first anniversary here too! It was the perfect location. We could go for beautiful walks, (Sunset Cliffs) take an uber to sight see at Balboa Park, Ocean Beach restaurants and a quick 10 minutes to the airport. Steffen & Anjali

This is a great place in a wonderful neighborhood, and John is a fabulous host! Driving in and coming over the hill on Point Loma Blvd to the Pacific Ocean laid out before you is such a treat!

My daughter and I had a wonderful stay at this property. The view and location as well as all the little touches made our stay perfect. John was very communicative and gave us all the necessary information, which made it easy to navigate the space. Would definitely stay here again!

John has an incredible place. My wife and I enjoyed our stay tremendously. Sorry I did not get a chance to meet him personally, but communication couldn't have been better. Great location - would love to stay again sometime.

Great apartment in lovely neighborhood

We loved this place! Apartment was really nice with good amenities. Hosts were helpful and the location was great for many different activities. We loved drinking coffee outside each morning and walking down to the beach each night to watch the sunset.

Great time in Sunset Cliffs

My wife and I had a 4 day stay for SDSU Parents Weekend and we thought this was the perfect place. Short drive to everything, nice walk down to the ocean, and the place was beautiful. We look forward to stay here again!

Every thing was above and beyond what needed to be done. He answered any questions we had, let us check in early, had a welcome basket with snacks and great information and a bottle of wine! The place was immaculate! All the extras, including slippers. Loved the indoor/outdoor concept with the glass garage door wall that you can open up! The firepit was beautiful. The outside swing was a nice touch. And the view is AMAZING! We are already planning to come back next year!

Great Location and House!

Super great location! We loved being super close to Point Loma, PB, and Mission Beach. 10 min walk to a beach cliff with a view. John was a great host and had anything we needed. Fire pit seating area in back was great and we could see the sunset from the home every night! Overall great stay!!

My mom and I came out for the weekend and LOVED it. John is incredibly friendly and has a gorgeous property, it is even better than the photos. Being able to listen to the ocean right from the patio was lovely. Thank you for the wonderful experience and hospitality! We’ll be back.

What a nice stay in San Diego with John.The cabana was clean and well-stocked with linens, pots/pans/dishes, towels, soap/shampoo and misc fun gadgets. (I bought three for myself when I got home.) There were thoughtful extras like a gas BBQ, fire pit, outdoor tables, a glass garage door (that opens for beautiful breezes) and a porch swing - perfect for watching the sun drop into the ocean. That porch - and the views from it - was my favorite "room" of the cabana.The house itself is in a lovely residential neighborhood. Walk to the west and in ten minutes you're at the rocky Sunset Cliffs. Walk east and you you can be at Shelter Island/Rosecrans in twenty. Many restaurants close by and an upscale market (Jensen's Foods) is a fifteen minute walk south (same center has a great frozen yogurt shop). Ocean Beach is twenty minutes northwest and worth the walk on a weekend night (great burgers at Hodad's). I walked a lot here because I love doing that, the climate pulls you outside - and because gas was 6/gallon during my stay. A word to the walking-wise though: Point Loma is one long, tall hill and this home is near the crest...John was a kind and caring host. He communicated well and was easily available when I had questions. There was a minor repair needed, which was promptly taken care of. Mainly, John is just a nice human. So is Mike. And Nola a good (quiet) dog.I highly recommend this VRBO and hope to return soon.- Eric

Peaceful getaway in Point Loma

We were so comfortable in the suite it was hard to leave! The bed was incredibly cozy, the place was spotless, and the stocked coffee bar was a much appreciated touch. Nothing like that view while having your morning coffee! John is a fantastic host and made us feel very welcome. The location is perfect; a quick walk to the cliffs and a short drive to all that San Diego has to offer. We will definitely stay here the next time we’re in town!
