Villa Aria is a beautiful, spacious and well equipped villa. The views of the coast and the sunset from the terrace are out of this world. Foula was an amazing host helping us with restaurant bookings etc. She also arranged some home cooked meals which were delicious. Would definitely recommend Villa Aria for an amazing holiday.

Es ist unsere freude solche Gaeste wie Sie zu haben !! Herzlichen Dank
We had a fantastic stay in Villa Aria 1878. It is a marvellously renovated property in stunning location with views across the Ionian.
The property has everything you require, a great heated pool and was cleaned every other day.
We were met by Foula who lives just below the Villa. She couldn't have been more helpful, whilst also respecting our privacy. She was on hand to respond instantly to any queries we may have had and very helpful with tips and information.
Pre-trip contact with the owner was very easy, helpful and efficient.
Highly recommend. We hope to return.

Dear Alun,
Thank you very much for all !
Seeing you soon !
This was our fifth trip to Greece and the first on Kefalonia. There were three couples with three kids (9, 11, & 13) for the first ten days. Two adults and two kids left and four more people came for the remaining time of three weeks. Foula was easy to deal with, very thorough, gave great recommendations, and was very responsive to our messages or calls. The house was very clean with everything you could possibly want. Eleni, the housekeeper, was there every other day and was so warm and friendly. Everyday the bakery truck came at 10am with fresh warm bakery. The views are amazing. The peace and quiet were wonderful. The ONLY thing that our group felt could be improved upon is the WiFi. Several people in our group were on a working vacation and the WiFi didn’t work outside, in the cottage, and in one of the bedrooms. Other than that it was perfect!
If you arrive at night after a long journey and a drive up winding lanes, you will wonder where you have come to.
But at dawn the spectacular panorama of the Ionian is revealed from your bedroom windows and across the garden pool.
Villa Aria is an architectural renovation of an ancient farm building. It's been done with exquisite taste and simplicity, creating elegant rooms with high quality furnishings.
The host lives down the lane and is exceptionally helpful and accommodating. Need a boat hire or restaurant recommendation? No problem.
Don't be concerned that the location is remote. You soon become familiar with the 15 minute drive to Assos or the 30 minute drive to Fiskado. There are stores, cafes and tavernas even closer.
We had a wonderful relaxing holiday here and will return for sure.

Villa Aria is a superb Greek Island holiday experience. Located on top of a hill in a small Greek village overlooking the sea, the villa is built to the highest standard while maintaining the charm of an old house. We stayed in August 2020, family with children. Eleni is a extremely nice host; she has spent many years making Villa Aria a unique property. Her caretaker, Foula, is an exceptional resource to book restaurants, excursions, and made our stay even more relaxing and special. Cannot recommend it highly enough. Would definitely go back.
Cannot begin to describe how fabulous this villa is-with views to die for, glorious sunsets, and elegant interiors! Incredibly well-equipped kitchen, comfy beds, and a pool to float in while admiring the view . Foula, the local agent, could not be more helpful with advice and recommendations, and the cleaning staff who came every other day were equally charming, and left the villa spotless.
Kudos to the gracious Eleni and her husband for a superb renovation done with great taste and ingenuity, highlighting the historical aspects of the building. It is every bit as beautiful as it appears in the photos-a very chic place to enjoy the pleasures of Kefalonia.
Some of the most beautiful beaches (Myrtos, Jerusalem beach) and villages (Asos, Fiskardo) were only a short 15-20 minute drive away, and even in the height of summer, never seemed overcrowded. We particularly loved dining harbourside at the fab Tassia in Fiskardo, sundowners at Hellenic Bistro and having a leisurely breakfast at Picnic, in Maganos. Best of all was renting motor boats (Regina's, Fiskardo) and heading out along the coast , and to Ithaca, and finding empty (even in August) coves of impossibly crystalline blue waters. Simply a magical holiday, and we hope to return soon-thank you to the whole team that make Villa Aria absolute heaven!
Lovely property with excellent views Fully equipped kitchen “Foula “ (liaison person during our stay) extremely helpful Enjoyed our stay very much

Beautiful property, amazing views and sunsets
I stayed in the villa with our 10 month old and another two couples, and it was one of the most relaxing and enjoyable vacations I've ever had.
The villa itself is impeccably restored (makes use of some historical aspects of the original house) and well appointed (the kitchen especially, which has Smeg appliances as well as every piece of kitchen equipment imaginable).
Cephalonia is blessed with the notoriously fertile earth that speckles the Ionian, and the grounds around the villa are no exception. There's fragrant, fresh rosemary, oregano, thyme, basil there, right outside your kitchen door, available for picking. There's a walnut tree! We were so inspired, we cooked and barbecued at the Villa at least once a day, often setting our table in front of the pool, under the stars.
When we did leave, Fiscardo, the most charming village in Cephalonia, was a short 20 minute car ride. Assos was another 15 minutes away, and so was the famous Myrto beach.
Foula, the groundskeeper, was very friendly and helpful – even watched our infant for us one night while we were out!
The best part of the whole experience however was the view. At night, the moon will paint an endless streak of light on the sea and light up the entire Villa. At sunset, a magical golden glow in the sky envelopes the villa, perched up in the hills, as the huge expanse of the mediterranean below glistens in the twilight.
You'll take some amazing pictures.
