We had a great stay in this nice rustic cabin in the nice little town of Rollinsville. Beautiful scenery and Buffalo grazing on the farmland down the road. Really nice and well run.
We enjoyed our stay at the Owl Chalet! Great for two couples. Very close to Nederland and the hiking trails. Host was responsive and we especially liked the gas stove/fireplace in the evening!
It is a very cozy home!! We loved our stay here. The stove heater was great, it really warms up the living room when cold. We enjoyed all the outdoor seating as well. Some trash from past visitors was left in a couple dresser drawers, but it’s not a big issue at all. We threw it away. Overall a great stay and we would stay again many times! Our dog loved the outdoors and the fenced off area.
We went skiing at Eldora and had a great time. Fully equipped kitchen with sharp knives (rare). Newer pots and pans (nice) Thought the kitchen could use a tea kettle and a new can opener. (minor issues) Nice to have a coffee grinder and French press. Coffee maker made warmish hot coffee. Thanks, Clara
Clean and tidy chalet. Well equipped. New Samsung kitchen appliances and reliable Starlink internet. We had some cosy nights by the fireplace watching movies and enjoying grill on the patio. Property is very well maintained and welcoming. Just 20 min away from Eldora skiing zone. Remember to keep yourself well hydrated, recommend to get some electrolyte soft drinks and do not hesitate using humidifiers kindly presented at every bedroom as air is extremely dry, especially while heating the house. We enjoyed our ski getaway at the Owl Chalet and highly recommend! Thank you!
Location is amazing, the neighborhood is quiet, and the host is very communicative. We stayed here in between hikes and it had a great set up. We would most definitely stay here again!
Cozy cabin with gorgeous gas, burning potbelly stove! Very comfortable stay and the large dog run was a game changer – photos of surroundings make it appear to be a little more isolated than it actually is. Be aware that your neighbors are very close by and that it feels more like an industrial area than a mountain neighborhood.
Our stay here was very nice. The area was very quaint. Obviously the scenery is spectacular. The house was very charming, as well, with plenty of space to move around. There was lots to explore in the immeadiate area and the Owl Chalet was a relatively short drive to the surrounding Denver area. I would love to go back to Owl Chalet some day.
Everything was great! Nice and clean felt like a home ! Host does a great job connecting with you so you can be comfortable during your stay , Thank you again we will be back!
Great location/house with access to everything in the area
My wife and I went up for a long Valentine's weekend. We had a great time with the house to ourselves. Excellent access to Nederland and Eldora skiing and a cross the street from Rollingsville's Main St. Clara (host) was very helpful and responded quickly.
Incredible views, spacious house, so close to the cutest little area of Rollinsville, great communication, really nothing to complain about! Can’t wait to recommend this house to any friends visiting the area in the future!
