Perfect for our fishing trip!

Went fishing for salmon and this place was great to come back to each day. Awesome proximity to fishing spots and the owners were so welcoming. Definitely will be booking this place again!

3 nights. This is a downstairs unit. Upstairs neighbors were a little loud but they only stayed one night. Unit is well stocked and host was very prompt responding to questions.

We really enjoyed our stay at the Sneaky Moose. The area was quiet and the condo was well stock with all the essentials of home. The host responded to our questions immediately and checked in with is periodically to make sure all was well. We would highly recommend this property.

We did a quick trip to Kenai for a two night stay and this place was exactly as advertised. Brand new carpets made a great first impression. The decorating theme of the Moose really let you know you were in Alaska. A Kuerig coffee pot with multiple pods were appreciated. Overall, an enjoyable stay and would recommend the property.

Pleasantly Pleased!

Very happy with our five day in this 4-plex. It was very clean and comfortable. The location was excellent for all our needs. Stores and restaurants weren’t too far away. The neighborhood was actually quieter than I anticipated. Main highways were near for our exploring of the Kenai Peninsula. The kitchen was stocked with a variety of dishes and cookware. Comfortable beds and the furniture in the living room was doable. We would definitely stay here again!

the photos certainly made the property better than it was. The unit in an apartment complex was marginal. Not that nice. You'll need to lower your price if you want repeat customers. We won't be back at the price you charged.

Great For Families

The Sneaky Moose was what we hoped from the pics, reviews and then some!! Traveling with a 2 year old and the accommodations were perfect for him!! Pack and play with sheets, high chair, kid friendly plastic plates, utensils and cups. Also a washer and dryer…..a big plus for families!!! For adults; comfortable beds, pillows, sheets and nice towels along with a full kitchen ready to cook in! Having 2 bathrooms a big plus also!! Be prepared for some possible noise from above because it is a bottom unit. But because we had our little one with us it was a wash. Good rules are in place for night quiet hours so we all slept peacefully. Stay at The Sneaky Moose if you are visiting Kenai!!!

Clean, very nice, but only two bedrooms

This condo was very clean and comfortable. The kitchen was equipped to be used. Our only problem was that it was listed as a three bathroom, two bath townhouse. I was expecting and needing a third bedroom. Once I reviewed the listing I noted that the living room was listed at the third bedroom, that was disappointing and inconvenient. The futon in the living room is fine for sitting around on, but it was not a fine for sleeping two nights on. I should have read all of the details. It is a GREAT two bedroom stay, but not a three bedroom.

Clean and comfortable

This downstairs apartment was clean and just as pictured. While the exterior of the complex is clean and kept up, it is an older complex, however the interior has been updated with new appliances and flooring. It is decorated with a moose theme. The neighborhood consists of the apartment complex and single family homes. The beds were comfortable. The towels were large and fluffy. The kitchen was stocked with everything I needed for cooking. We were there for a summer baseball tournament, and the apartment was close to the fields. The location is also close to Walmart. Staying in this apartment, with the option to cook our own meals for 4 adults and 1 child was much cheaper than 2 hotel rooms and dining out. This hostess is very nice and communication was easy. After spending the first few days of the trip in Anchorage, I had a car load of refrigerated food which needed to be refrigerated before check in time. Kristi allowed us to drop our food off 3 hours prior to check in. She was also very responsive to any questions I had, and checked in with me to be sure everything was ok.

Exceptionally good stay in the clean and spacious rooms in Kenai

I stayed here in Kenai for a week with my 2 kids and my nephew. We’ve visited Homer spit, Seward(cruise to Kenai Fjords national park), Russian River, and Kenau wildlife Refuge. And, also, hiked in multiple trails. The location is convenient to almost all scenic spots in the Kenai peninsula. More noted, the house is spacious, especially to a family, very clean and cozy. And the host, Kristi, is very responsive and warm-hearted. All in all, my family had a very good and memorable stay in the house. I would love to give a rate with an exceptional 5-star to my experience in the house.

Anticipate fresh, clean Alaska air, aroma of spruce forest, and the cry of Bald Eagles as you arrive at this townhome. In summer months, the property is surrounded by verdant green. Majestic forests, meadows, hillsides. Hike to the Kenai River in just twelve minutes along well-groomed trails. In wintertime our driveways, parking areas, walkways are all meticulously plowed and shoveled. The vast sky of stars and aurora borealis provide winter splendor.

This townhome is ground level, all one level. Four separate townhome units comprise this complex. Guests in this fourplex will be your neighbors. These townhomes share a communal yard, patio area with BBQ grill and picnic tables (available in the summer months). Guests often gather in the picnic area to grill and savor the flavors of fresh-caught halibut and salmon.

Inside the freshly remodeled townhome, the open floor plan is a design element that brings family or friends together to share quality time and good conversation, effortlessly. The kitchen is fully stocked with cookware, dishware, utensils, and features a full-size fridge, gas stove, microwave, toaster oven, blender, dishwasher, large sink with retractable spray kitchen faucet, plenty of cupboard and counter space, breakfast bar and coffee station. (We provide dish soap and soap for the dishwasher.) The coffee station has a Keurig, French press, pour over, coffee grinder, fresh coffee beans, milk-frother, tea, cocoa and popcorn!



What makes this property unique

Alaskan-themed art and décor are touches that enhance the ambiance of this wildlife-themed townhome, nicknamed the “Sneaky Moose”. Maps of the Kenai peninsula, fishing charts, seascapes, large paintings of moose, as well as posters, carvings, ceramics of Moose and Alaska fish and wildlife, adorn this townhome. Our bookshelves feature guidebooks about wildlife and nature. Our coffee-table with map of the Kenai Peninsula and shower curtain featuring a bold image of a moose are a few examples of eye-catching wildlife-themed conversation pieces!

This spacious town-home has large windows that offer plenty of natural light during the day. Adjustable shades and premium black-out curtains ensure guests a restful night’s sleep in the land of the midnight sun.
The dining table seats six and is the perfect spot to enjoy a home-cooked meal, or a smorgasbord of ripe produce from the local farmer’s market. The living room sofa, armchair, chaise lounge are ideal spots to sit back and watch a Netflix movie on the 65" flat screen TV.

This townhome has two bedrooms. Each bedroom has a queen bed. Bedroom #1 has a rack for hanging clothes as well as a coat rack. Bedroom #2 has ample closet space. Brand new premium linens, colorful Alaskan quilts, and wintertime down comforters make for a wonderful night’s sleep. The living room sofa is a full size futon. There is also a crib or floor mattress to accommodate guests.
