Golf cart, bikes, @ Big Kahuna and across from beach access

Our "Big Kahuna" Beach house is ready for some fun! Fill our house with your family, friends and let’s build some fantastic beach memories.

We include a golf cart, bicycles, fire pit, ping pong table, corn hole, beach chairs and even an extra refrigerator for your vacationing fun at our house. We have an enclosed shower for washing off before coming inside.

Enjoy Sitting on the screened in porch and breathe in the fresh salt air.

We sleep 12 people comfortably in our 5 bedroom, 4 bath beach house.

New linens including bedspreads & towels and beach towels too.

Newly remodeled Well appointed kitchen has everything you need.

We have 2 living rooms so everyone can spread out. Big screened porch and decks beckon you outside to enjoy the deer walking by or just to breathe in fresh island air.

New gas grill and outdoor dining table.

We are right across from beach access #7.

Most Fripp vacationers know but if you don’t, golf carts are our preferred form of transportation. We include a golf cart with your stay and if you want to rent more carts, Make sure to rent when you book because they go fast. We have also included bikes, beach chairs, a beach wagon, beach towels and all kinds of toys for your island fun.

A few notes about the island - We are club members which means that the Club amenity cards are available.

***The Fripp Island Club requires amenity cards for you to frequent their amenities. These amenities include golfing, playing tennis, going to the restaurants on Fripp, going to the swimming pools and the fitness room.
The amenity card prices for stays that are 1-4 days are $39 during the summer months and $29 during Fall, Winter and Spring.
The amenity card prices for stays that are 5-8 days are $55 during the summer months and $35 during Fall, Winter and Spring.
If you do want to purchase the amenity cards, the resort will add an additional island fee of 13% to your rental to use their amenities. This will be added to your weekly stay at time of amenity card purchase.
Each guest 13 years or older must carry an amenity card to access the Club's facilities.
There are a few places on Fripp Island that you do not need an amenity card. SpringTide Market is at the front of the island that has a large menu at their deli. From breakfast sandwiches to family BBQ meals, there is a lot to choose from. There is also a deli at the Marina that serves sandwiches and salads. Several retail stores are fun to go into for your perfect souvenir. You do not need an amenity card for golf cart, kayak, bike, etc. rentals as there are an abundance of companies who offer rental services that will deliver to you. We now have Fripp Island Carts located at the front of the island that offers rentals without an amenity card for golf cart rentals, bikes, etc

Nice place with decent space. Couches in main living room could use a refresher. Kitchen was new with lots of things to cook with. I think for such a big house with so many rooms, a second fridge would be helpful. The screened in porch was a wonderful touch and we enjoyed a lot of time out there. The mosquitos were terrible otherwise. The outside needed a good cleaning. Dead bugs, spider webs, dirt were everywhere, making it not the most pleasant to be outside.

Awesome vacation home!

Our family really enjoyed our stay!! There are several places in this home for gathering, which worked perfectly for us. The large eating table was a favorite place to hang out. The bedrooms were super comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. As for the beach, you couldn't get more convenient than the access being right across the street. Thank you for a great week!!

Perfect for families!

Great floor plan for families with children. Kids loved having their own space Spacious and comfortable living area . Extra refrigerator and shower on ground level a nice bonus. Kitchen cabinets could use an update but overall well equipped for cooking family meals. Supplying a hose for rinsing off sand would be helpful.

We had 3 adult couples and our Mom, the matriarch. Great pet friendly space for gathering, dining, game playing, relaxing . Downstairs rooms less bright and airy. More dated.

We had a great time. The house accommodated our group of 10 very well. The only complaint we had is that the golf cart is not in descent shape. With 4 people riding, the tires would rub on the fenders and I think the transmission is about to fail.

Nice Stay

This was our 12th stay at Fripp and first at the Big Kahuna. We were a large party of 11 and found it helpful to spread out both upstairs and down, The layout was generally comfortable with expansive dining spaces for 12, but the bathrooms were a bit small and the air conditioning struggled to cool when we first arrived. The property manager was wonderfully responsive and changed the AC filter within a few minutes of being contacted. She also sent extra towels. The home is located on a quiet part of the island. Note that Beach Access #7 across the street involves quite a long walk across dunes and a very wide tide pool, so we ended up using Access #1B at the end of Marlin Drive, which was much shorter and more accessible to my elderly mother. Also note that the beach chairs advertised consisted of 2 older chairs, only one of which was actually usable. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and had only minor critiques of the property. A lovely setting and relaxing place to gather.

Great House!

We just got back from a long weekend. This was our first time on Fripp and I was not disappointed. We had our extended family there, ages ranging from 4 - 71. The extra living area downstairs was a major plus and the kids kept all their toys and watched TV down there. Definitely recommend a golf cart and driving down to a different beach access. We ended up doing the walk down 7 every time and while it was very secluded there it was a good 10 min walk to the option by the time you got over the dunes. (Obviously not a house issue) The house was super clean and had everything we needed for our stay. 10 out of 10 would recommend!!!

2022 Family Vacay

Our family had a good time which was the intent of the trip. The listing, however, was kind of deceiving. It states remodeled but it is not a recent remodel. There were closet doors that were broken and would not close and the rugs in the kitchen and downstairs were dirty and stained. It also states steps to the beach but had no idea it was 800 steps! It was quite a hike!! I had left a phone message and text message for the property manager that went unanswered. It was only when the key code did not work and we could not get in that a message was returned. She had sent the wrong code. We did enjoy seeing the deer!
