The modern holiday home is located on the Kiel Canal, close to the Baltic Sea town of Eckernförde.
The house is popular for family gatherings; all 12 people have space on a common table.
If necessary, the house (141 sqm) can be divided into 2 separate apartments; both kitchens are well equipped.
The seniors like to live on the barrier-free ground floor with the sunny terrace.
Children and dogs can play in the enclosed garden.
Many regular guests appreciate the quiet location.

Our house is located in a quiet residential area of Sehestedt and has been extensively renovated. It is 90 m to the Kiel Canal (2nd Street row): from the dining table you have the canal view as in the photo.

LOWER FLOOR: 73 sqm:
a) very large eat-in kitchen, very well equipped, with table for max. 12 people; french bed (with a partition from curtains); Double sofa bed as extra bed, wood-burning stove, leather sofa, 7 m wide south-facing window (effectively shaded from the outside);
b) Bedroom with double bed (160 cm wide, electrically adjustable) and own TV
c) bathroom with shower, barrier-free,
d) south-facing terrace, natural garden with lawn and shade tree, fenced, sunny, quiet
The apartment always has pleasant air thanks to automatic fresh air supply.
The 3 star certification of the lower apartment does not apply to the use of the entire house.

The staircase takes you to the UPPER floor:
The bright eat-in kitchen has a south-facing balcony, looking towards the Kiel Canal (90 m away); It has two cozy bedrooms with morning sun. The third bedroom is in the loft (good standing height). In front of it in the through room are 2 single beds. The space-saving staircase leading up there has a safety door for children at the top, but the staircase is not safe for small children.
The bathroom has a tub and shower. This apartment also always has pleasant air thanks to automatic fresh air supply.

A maximum occupancy of 12 people is possible when using the entire house.

The light switches are low. A foldable wheelchair and toilet chair are available. LIVING KITCHEN: The French. Bed is 53 cm high and can be driven under, with a room partition made of curtains. The living room table has a large overhang.
We would be happy to place the leather couch at a seat height of 55 cm.
Our guests praise the pleasant temperature in the house.
