Catch your own slot Redfish/Trout/Tripletail/Flounder dinner from the 245' Fishing Dock in the backyard overlooking Alligator Harbor. Note motor boats may not be moored to the dock as it is permitted for Kayaks and Canoes only. Free Kayaking with 2 kayaks. Bald Point State Park and white sandy public beaches are three miles away. A top-notch golf course (St. James Bay) is fifteen minute drive away.

If you are looking for a nice quite getaway this is the spot. The private dock was very nice to fish from and the neighbors were very friendly. Joe was awesome, he checked in with us and made sure we got in ok and if we needed anything. Lots of state parks around to hike or fish or just go veiw. Lots of fishing charters around the area if your looking to go charter fishing. Very peaceful place and just all around awesome!!!

Relaxation

This was a beautiful cottage with everyting that you may need while on vacation. Enjoy gorgeous views of the bay from inside and outside on either of the two porches and dock. It was so quiet and peaceful. We enjoyed just sitting and relaxing on the porches and dock, fishing and kayaking. The only downside was having to leave.

We enjoyed our stay at Redfish Cottage. Our host was easy to communicate with. The house was so cute and just felt like home and was very clean. I loved the fact there were cleaning supplies under both the bathroom and kitchen sink. I like to tidy up during a stay anywhere. Everything we needed to cook at the house was right there on hand. The neighbors were nice and waved any time we saw them. We hope to stay at Redfish Cottage again in the future.

Spring Break Alternative

This place fits our style very well which is slow-paced and outdoor-based. We fished, hiked, bird-watched, walked the public beach and just relaxed. If you are interested in the typical Spring Break scene, then this is not your place.

Lovely Stay

The house was exactly as advertised and a great deal for such an amazing view and stay. We spent the majority of our time out on the pier but when you come inside to relax and refuel it was great. The property owner was always a text away and quick to respond. Would definitely recommend and stay here again.

Month reset

This was our 3rd year at the cottage. Our month long stay was not enough. Mornings on the golf course and afternoons fishing on the dock. Beautiful scenery in the bay. Birds and animals to watch. Yes the white squirrel was there and even saw the bear. Perfect!
