About this property

Beautiful cabin on private 4 acre land with view on pond

The cabin is located on our 4 acre plot about 200m from our house with a view of Chanctonbury and a large pond. We are a family with 2 teenagers and 2 friendly dogs and are there to help if needed but far enough away to give you privacy. Steyning high street with its lovely shops, pubs, super markets and tearooms are only 1 mile away. Please note that the dance studio mentioned in the reviews doesn’t exist anymore.

Cute Cottage

This place was perfect for our getaway. The area was beautiful and the deck was a fantastic place to relax after a long day. Highly recommend.

Lovely cabin

Immaculately presented and set in a lovely location. Great place to chill out before and after a local wedding we attended . Very well equipped and the sofa bed was a decent size and very comfortable. Communication with Carolin was excellent. Thank you we enjoyed our stay and we will be back as a great base to explore the local area.

Lots of good things about the cabin, and the owners were helpful and responsive to a minor issue; but the proximity to the junction with a busy main road was regrettable, as was the noise from the dance studio.

A calm haven

We stayed for 5 nights in August and found it a lovely place to have a "get away from it all" stay. The dance studio at the barn was no bother at all - in fact we would play 'guess that tune' to any music we heard. Our stay coincided with the 'One Love' festival down the road which again was no bother with further games if 'Name that tune- reggae style'. The outlook over the lake was lovely and we had regular sightings of the ducks and their ducklings during the day as they waddled their routine rounds. We even saw a deer saunter through the grounds on our first evening there. There are many lovely walks nearby, some of which we explored. After dark we were able to observe the Orionid Meteor shower in the comfort of the decking furniture- fabulous! We had great communication with the owners in spite of them being on holiday themselves. We'd definitely stay again!

Steyning is a beautiful historical town. The sea is just 10-15 min away, Brighton is only 20-25 min away. So for us it’s all we need.

What makes this property unique

I know nothing will ever be perfect for everyone but I can certainly say that I will do anything in my power and control to make your stay as lovely as I can. I pride myself in keeping the property perfectly clean as personally that’s the most important thing to me whenever we travel. We just want our guests to be happy.
