Smooth communication, easy check-in. Place was quite cozy with the stove. Bed was comfortable. Roots Roasters coffee shop was great, only a short walk away. Super convenient to Macalester college. Thanks!
We enjoyed our stay in this historic home. The host is wonderful, made us and our two little dogs feel very welcome. Not only is the apartment pet-friendly, but the entire neighborhood is, too. Great for taking walks.
Traveling as a single woman I appreciated the safety of the property and the neighborhood. The room was clean and spacious and hosts were thoughtful. Would definitely stay again.
The apartment is exactly as described with extra thoughtful gifts. My favorite part of the layout is the skylights. There were night storms during my stay and the lightning show was beautiful. The yard has flowers and food gardens. I had a wonderful dinner prepared by Rupinder complete with a thoughtful conversation. The neighborhood is easy to navigate and comfortable to explore. Loved it.
This is a great space located near Macalester College. There's plenty of easy parking on the street out front and the surrounding neighborhood is quiet and safe. The space itself is a finished attic but doesn't feel at all cramped. A tall person -- 6.2 or so -- may have to duck a bit in some spots and a person with mobility issues will struggle with the stairs that lead to the unit. For a studio it's quite roomy with an ample living area, a partial kitchen (microwave, sink, fridge), and a separate room with bunk beds. The host is friendly and responsive and a great source for area information.

Amazing! In one word.
This was probably the best situation for us. Looked small in pictures but lots of space and room. Also very cozy lots of thoughtful amenities and beautiful art! We will be back. We love it and we love St Paul!
Very comfortable place and nice to have the generous treats, food and beverage available.
One suggestion: the listing should mention the stairs which were fine for me but challenging for others of my age and older.
Thanks, Rupinder!

We enjoyed our stay here. The home is older and full of charm, so if you’re looking for something more modern, this might not be the right fit. For us, it was perfect. Rupinder’s communication was very good. We were able to check in early because of our morning flight, and were greeted with some chocolate. We had everything we needed, including a very comfortable bed with great pillows and linens! We will definitely try to stay here when visiting the Twin Cities in the future.
You can’t beat this house for its proximity to public transportation, Macalester College and charming neighborhoods! My only caveat is that this 3rd floor space has very narrow stairs with a tight turn on the 2nd floor landing. Folks with bulky hard luggage might find it awkward to maneuver those stairs.
Rupinda's apartment was a great location for me, cool in the hot weather, and plenty of space. He was friendly and responded quickly when I needed a new lightbulb, an iron, then an ironing board. The not-so-good: Quaint--unit and old house need some work. Not a lot of natural light. Bathroom is small, needs work. Many outlets but most are so old that plugs don't fit. But it was fine for my needs. Thank you, Rupinda!

Hi Sarah - yes it’s an old home and one can find a project here every weekend for next 10 years:) that’s said you mentioned the outlets in the studio space which have been all recently installed new for the two windownAC units, fridge and appliances. These are all new. there are some old ones left for basic lighting (lamps). The bathroom is small (it’s a studio space) and has been completely renovated. I hope that clarifies the not so good part. We loved your energy and stay here. Thanks Rupinder

The property could use a little improvement. I expected more for the money. The reviews made it attractive so we gave it a try. The bathroom was small, and due to the design I had to lean over to use the toilet. There was a coffee pot full of mold. I contacted the property manager who apologized and took care of it. Not what I anticipated

Hi Chris - sorry you had a experience which didn’t fit your expectations. We are sorry about the coffee pot being overlooked and when you informed us, it was taken care of. I offered to take all of you out to Roots roasting as a way of making up the overlook on part of the cleaners. It’s a studio space and the design is quant in lines with it being an older home. You did say this was your first time with VRBo type rental and I apologize on behalf of all hosts who try to give a superlative experience that your first impression of short term rental was not up to mark. The studio space is not priced high by any means. Thanks
A very comfortable apartment in a great location close to restaurants and our family. We appreciated the coffee and cream, the air conditioning and space for us to spread out.
