About this property

Apartment "Haus am See" Alte Tambacher dam for 2-4 people

The apartment is located on the ground floor of the listed building, which was built around 1905. The entire property was renovated in the mid-1990s in accordance with the protection of historical monuments and adapted to contemporary living standards.
The apartment consists of a spacious dining room with a clear view of the dam, as well as the living room. Furthermore, our guests have a bedroom, a kitchen and a bathroom with a separate toilet.
We have designed the living room so that an adult can comfortably be seated on the pull-out couch, so that the apartment can accommodate a total of three people. A children's travel bed is also available.
A TV with DVD player is in the living room. We are also available to our guests with advice and support and are happy to assist when it comes to organizing hiking tours.

In order to meet the needs of our guests, we have ensured that WiFi reception is not only possible in the house, but also around the building, right up to the cozy patio by the water.
Furthermore, there is the possibility to use a fire bowl and the grill if necessary.

Ons verblijf was prima, vriendelijke eigenaar waar makkelijk mee te communiceren is. Wel vreemd was dat we voor de keuken en de badkamer via het trappenhuis moesten lopen waar dus ook gasten van de bovenverdieping lopen.

Die Ferienwohnung ist groß und sehr sauber. Die Ausstattung war sehr gut, abgesehen von ein paar Kleinigkeiten war alles vorhanden, was man zur Selbstversorgung benötigt. Sogar Bademäntel und Hausschuhe waren vorhanden, was wir noch in keiner anderen Ferienwohnung hatten. Leider knarrt das Doppelbett entsetzlich! Aber die Lage der Wohnung war hervorragend. Direkt an der kleinen , nicht öffentlich zugängigen Talsperre mit Blick auf den Wald. Wir hatten wunderbare Ruhe um uns herum. Für erholungssuchende Naturliebhaber bestens geeignet und die Landschaft drumherum - Wald, Berge, Täler- lädt zum Wandern oder Spazierengehen ein.

Quiet , scenic walking area

A wonderful quiet and well situated ground floor appartment. The owners live on the floor above. The location is excellent, close to the reservoir and it’s retaining wall for easy access to walking trails and within walking distance of the Netto supermarket. Walking maps are provided. Marcus speaks excellent English. I can recommend this rental for couples who love to walk and anyone wishing to escape the crowds of August.

Die gepflegte Ferienwohnung ist für Ruhesuchende und Naturliebhaber nur zu empfehlen. Auch Hundebesitzer sind hier herzlich willkommen. Der schöne Blick auf den Stausee vom Wohn/Essbereich ist in dieser Gegend wohl einzigartig. Erfurt, Weimar und Eisenach sind gut zu erreichen, sodaß es an Abwechslung auch bei nicht so gutem Wetter nicht mangelt.

Wir haben 2 wunderschöne Wochen über Weihnachten/Neujahr im "Haus am See" an der Alten Tambacher Talsperre verbracht. Die Wohnung ist sehr ruhig gelegen, in einer sehr schönen Landschaft eingebettet, sehr gemütlich eingerichtet, es fehlt an nichts. Ein absoluter hideaway, um die Seele baumeln zu lassen, und gleichzeitig ein gut gelegener Ort, um Städte oder die Natur zu erreichen. Die Gastgeber sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, und haben die Wohnung wirklich liebevoll eingerichtet. Wir haben uns sehr wohlgefühlt!

Die Wohnung ist schön eingerichtet, geräumig und hell. Sie liegt ruhig direkt am See. Die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit, wir haben uns ausgesprochenwohl gefühlt. Die Lage ist ideal zum Wandern, ein Netz von schönen Wegen ist unmittelbar erreichbar. Mit dem Auto sind auch die Sehenswürdigkeiten Thüringens gut erreichbar. Alles hat gepasst für einen rundum schönen 2 wöchigen Urlaub.

Really great appartement on a beautiful location

My partner and me were looking for a place that was quiet and comfortable, and with lots of nature to make long walks with our dog. This place exceded our expectations. It is a beautiful house alongside a beautiful lake and nice old water dam from 1902. The appartement is nice and clean. It consists of remarkably spacious rooms with a simple but very tastefully furnished interieur, instantly giving a homely feel. There is a garden with a nice terrace with lots of sun. The garden is also connected to the water dam, so you can walk on it. Very nice for a small evening stroll. The hosts (a couple) are very friendly and helpful. Not too pushy, but very relaxed. They know a lot about the area and give good advice about nice walking routes. The location itself is great for walking, because there are so many walking trials nearby. There are a lot of beautiful forests, lakes and large green meadows. There are walking maps available in the appartement. The map of the direct surroundings is excellent and up-to-date, the others are older but still ok. I can absolutely recommend this place to anyone who is looking for quietness but also comfort. For people with (large) dogs, it is the best place imaginable. Our dog had the best time ever, and so did we!

Sehr schöne Ferienwohnung, die direkt an der alten Tambacher Talsperre gelegen ist. Die Ferienwohnung ist mit allem ausgestattet und die Vermieter sind sehr freundlich. Man ist direkt in der Natur und kann eine schöne Wanderung um die Talsperre machen. In Tambach gibt es gute Einkaufsmöglichkeiten. Auf dem Rennsteig haben wir eine tolle Skiwanderung unternommen! Er ist nur wenige Autominuten von Tambach entfernt.

Idyllisch gelegenes Feriendomizil

Am liebsten wären wir viel länger da geblieben. Wir durften aber immerhin zwei Wochen diese Ruhe und die schönen Bilder genießen. Die Fotos auf dieser Seite versprechen nicht zu viel. Das Haus steht ganz nah am Wasser und beim Blick aus dem Fenster schaut man direkt auf den Stausee und den gegenüber liegenden Wald, der sich im ruhig liegenden Wasser spiegelt. Ein sich über den Tagesverlauf ständig änderndes Schauspiel. Da das gesamte Areal für die Öffentlichkeit nicht zugänglich ist, kann man dieses Idyll ganz für sich allein genießen! Wir hatten das Glück, nicht nur die bunte Vogelwelt zu erleben, sondern auch die Graureiher beim Fischen beobachten zu können. Wer gern wandert, kann seine Route direkt nach dem Gang über die Sperrmauer auf der anderen Seite des Stausees im Wald beginnen. Trotz dieser Randlage ist der Ort zu Fuß gut erreichbar, sodass zum Abendessen das Auto auch mal stehen bleiben kann. In der Wohnung hat es uns an nichts gefehlt. Sie ist liebevoll eingerichtet und es ist an alles gedacht. Bei schönem Wetter gibt es genügend Raum ums Haus, um sich ganz nach Belieben in der Sonne oder auch im Schatten aufzuhalten. Die Unterstützung und Beratung durch die Vermieter war immer hilfreich und äußerst freundlich. Daher vergeben ohne wenn und aber die max. möglichen fünf Sterne.
