Hello Millicent I am so happy thay you enjoyed your stay. Thank you for your review we apprecite all our reviews and our guests. I hope you have a great day.
We have stayed at this location several times and each time Nicole has been a great host. We love the location - quiet and peaceful but very close to a few restaurants and shopping. The space is always clean and welcoming and perfect for a family of 4. We look forward to staying again the next time we come to visit family.

Hello Patrice thank you for your review. We were not aware you ran out of toilet paper i applogize we normally put out 2 rolls and leave 2 for short stays and 4 for long stays. We are making adjustments to the living room for AC this coming year. We can add foil, plastic wrap and zip lock bags to the kitchen. Sounds like a greas idea. Love guest feedback thank you so much have a great day and we are very happy you had a nice stay. Thank you again for your review.
It was a quick one night trip. Place was clean. The owner was very nice and helpful.

great back porch area, my only bad thing to say is that there is no air-conditioned in the main bedroom or the living room.

Hello Cindi, thank you for your review. I do agree and we are going to change that this coming year. There will be a different set up for the air conditioners to make guests more comfortable . With some additional other things planned as well to keep our guests happy. I appreciate your time and your feedback. Have a great day.
It was a nice place 2 stay. There were some things that could use some work. However, i do not wish to state because she was very understanding when i locked us out the one day. I do want to thank Nicole for that because she allowed use to get in the best way my husband could without much repair needing done after the fact. Would stay there again if i ever needed.
The apartment was great, perfect for my Son and I. It was very clean and had everything we needed for our trip..even extras. Including toys which my Son loved. Apartment was very clean and accessible to a lot of surrounding activities and places to go for entertainment including a park right down the road literally walking distance. We also got to see the Eagle next to its nest super neat! Would definitely recommend and stay again.

Thank you so much for your review. I am so happy your enjoyed your stay.
The property was clean and accommodating. The Eagle nest in the tree in back yard was awesome. The downstairs was a little noisy, but considering they have children we weren't too bothered. Still nicer than a hotel and had a kitchen to cook for ourselves.

I am so glad that you enjoyed your stay. It sounds like you are able to see the Eagles in thr backyard that's awesome. Thank you for booking with us.
We came to Binghamton for our eclipse getaway with our two teenagers. The apartment had great Wi-Fi (anyone with teens knows how important that is), the bedrooms were large and the second bedroom had two beds. The kitchen is large with a dining table, and the living room is a great size too. There are many stores and restaurants close by.
Good price. Air conditioning (a must in August) window units in each bedroom kept us cool enough to sleep well (a third unit also in the common area) Great water pressure in shower. Playground within short walking distance, good for if you bring kids. Keurig machine and good selection of coffees provided.

Apartment with deck.
The property was clean and had many conveniences, including a large deck. However, the entranceway had a foul odor and the hostess was not friendly.

Hello Joseph, I was not the person at the house. I just wanted to make that clear. I am always helpful to my guests and want them to be comfortable at my property. I make myself available for guests if they need anything during their stay. The odor at the entrance is from the people downstairs which will not be a problem anymore in the next few weeks. I do apologize to that but due to NYS regulating certain things there are limited abilities that I have. But as I said this will no longer be a problem in about 2 weeks. I wish you would have messaged me I would have done all I could to help. But, I was not the person at the property. I hope you enjoyed your time in the area. Thank you
This 2nd flr apt is quite large and was decorated for the fall season. It has a full kitchen which I needed. No laundry for long-term stays but there was a good laundromat nearby. The rental is just off a lovely paved walkng trail and there is also a nice play ground for those with children. This apt was great for me as I was visiting my family and it provided a nice place to stay. The hostess also was helpful when I had questions. Since it is on the 2nd floor, if you cannot climb stairs it would not be suitable.
We didnt realize that the stairs were steep and carpet. The living room had no A/c and was warm at night triing to relax before bed.
The couch and chair provided needed upgraded.no light in refrigerator made difficult . Was a place to sleep at night.
Bathroom was so so small

Hello Annette I was unaware of any problems with your stay I wish you would have reached out to me. This is a duplex and the bathrooms are not large but they are medium size it does have a shower, tub combo with toilet- sink with storage in vanity as well as a linen closet so it is not small with the amount of items in it. It is the size of some of the hotels in the area. The pictures and information on the site provide that it is 2nd level I am sorry if there was any misunderstanding on. Everyone has their own likes and dislikes I do understand. I will look into upgrading the furniture. I try to provide a quiet and home like experience for my guests staying In a hotel is not for everyone I also try to provide a reasonable rate for the accommodations and research other properties in the area that are available. Although there is no AC in the living room there is 1 in the kitchen and 1 in each bedroom providing alot of cooling ability for the unit. There are also box fans available in the closets to help with air flow if needed on very hot days. The curtains are thermal so when closed they keep the heat of the sun out as well. I am sorry there was difficulty with the temperature of the unit during your stay you are the first to bring this to my attention. I will look into this.

the sheets on the bed didn't look like they were fresh washed. pillow case were not covering the whole pillow. the bath tub was plugged and i had to clean the drain, removing who knows who's hair and skin slime from the drain. towels were not fresh, they were old and used. the toilet paper holder was in the way and hard to be comfortable. there was ant traps on the counter in the kitchen. some of the pots and pans were dirty. and the remote for the TV was difficult to work. she wanted us to take our shoes off and climb 16 stairs with no way or stool to put our shoes on when we went out. the furniture was very uncomfortable "old". other than all that it was ok for our purposes.

Hello Michael i am very confused on your review. I have messages from you that say everything was nice, you had a problem with the apple remote i offered many solutions as well as photos to help even further. I allowed early access to the property as you were arriving early. You never messaged to say anything was wrong. There is a area behind the door at the entrance to leave your shoes there is no area to allow for a stool but there are stairs and this is noted on the property information. Your review does not agree with the messages that i recevied from you so i wanted to note that for future guests. All towels and bedding are washed for next guests. They are not brand new but they are well washed. The toilet paper holder is out of the way of the shower to prevent it from getting damp. I feel that your review does not match your messages and i feel that needs to be mentioned. You sent a message apologizing for your tone in the messages when you were having difficulty using the apple remote. I always try to accomodate my guests , i ask them to communicate with me if there is a problem and i did not recieve any notice letting me know otherwise. Thank you
Overall it was a great place. The only concern was there is no outside lights. We arrived in the evening and it would have been nice to have lights to make finding the key easier.
"I love being a host because it allows me to turn a simple stay into a memorable home-away-from-home experience. There is nothing more rewarding than hearing a guest say they felt truly comfortable and cared for. I take great pride in maintaining a space that is not only updated and clean but filled with thoughtful touches—from the quiet nature views on the deck to the toys ready for the kids. Welcoming guests from all walks of life and helping them discover the best of our safe, quiet neighborhood is what makes hosting so fulfilling for me."
Why they chose this property
The best part of staying here is the unbeatable location! You get the privacy of a quiet neighborhood with the convenience of being centrally located to everything. I love that most local restaurants deliver right to the door, and that we are just minutes from the excitement of Binghamton University and the local hospitals. It’s the perfect home base for exploring the Southern Tier."
What makes this property unique
While there are many stays in the area, Parkway Place #2 offers a rare combination of private outdoor space, family-friendly amenities, and professional convenience: The Private Nature Deck: Unlike many rentals that are strictly indoor apartments, we offer a large, private deck. It’s your own personal sanctuary to enjoy your morning coffee while watching local nature—a rare find so close to the center of the action. A "Real Home" Feel: We go beyond the basics. From the curated board games and children's toys to the dedicated workspace, this space is designed to feel like a home, not just a temporary unit. Accessibility & Ease: Many older homes in the Southern Tier have difficult street parking or narrow entryways. We provide private driveway parking and the added convenience of ramp access, ensuring a stress-free arrival. Quiet Professionalism: We are located in a peaceful residential neighborhood, offering a quiet alternative to high-traffic area housing. It’s the perfect retreat for traveling medical professionals or visiting families who want to be "close to it all" without the noise of the main road. Modern Updates: With an updated kitchen, new appliances, and a freshly renovated bathroom, you get the charm of the region with the modern comforts you expect.
