You’ll be staying in the heart of the Upper Aude Valley, surrounded by nature—the perfect setting for a holiday focused on exploring the local environment, gastronomy, and the rich heritage of Cathar Country. From the village’s higher elevations, majestic panoramic views of mountains stretching as far as the eye can see unfold before you. There is a supermarket and bar on site; other shops are in Quillan, just 5 minutes away. You can enjoy a variety of whitewater activities and fishing, and there’s a recreational centre 5 km away with supervised swimming. It’s also a starting point for hiking and mountain biking trails. Just a few kilometres away are numerous cultural sites, including the Cathar castles of Puivert, Lapradelle, and Puylaurens, and the Cité de Carcassonne, which is 1 hour away. The Espéraza Dinosaur Museum and the thermal baths at Rennes-les-Bains are also must-see attractions.
