Located on the #7 Tee at the Bestie Valley Golf Course at Crystal Mountain

Welcome to Hoekstra’s # 7 Tee located on the Betsie Valley Golf Course at Crystal Mountain. This newer house was completed in December 2021, features 5 bedrooms, 3 full baths, lower walk out level with a wet bar, as well as a covered outside deck overlooking the 7th Tee on the Bestie Valley Golf Course and the fire pit. Taking reservations for spring/summer/fall and winter for 2026-27. A great spot for ski/golf trips.

If you'd like to use any of the Crystal Mountain amenities (indoor/outdoor pool, gym, hot tub, etc) please view their website to view their prices and availability. The house does come with Crystal Mountain 24 hour shuttle passes.
The shuttle will bring you back and forth from the house to the mountain.

This wonderful Ski/Golf Chalet is centrally located to some of our local favorites; Arcadia Bluffs Golf Course (even if you're not a golfer, you can enjoy dinner there with a million dollar view), Iron Fish Distillery (A must), The world famous Cherry Hut (for a Cherry Pie), St. Ambrose Cellars, The Roadhouse Mexican Grill (best Margarita our book), Sleeping Bears Dunes, downtown Frankfort (about a 15 min drive) and for breakfast/lunch at Rosie's or pizza and a beer at Geno's in downtown Thompsonville.

Each stay comes with a fully stocked S'mores basket, two starter logs and a bundle of firewood. We also provide a welcome basket with snacks, K-cups and a few bottled waters. All showers and bathtubs are supplied with Crystal Mountains signature shampoo, conditioner and body wash.

We do own 3 additional homes in the same area as this one (if you were hosting a large group and need additional accommodations).

I gave my kids and grandkids a long weekend to ski at Crystal Mountain and chose to stay at this excellent house for our 3 night getaway. It was a perfect place for our 11 people ages 5-62! Although it was raining our first day we used the indoor pool on the Crystal property which was a big hit for us all. Then the snow came and there was much fun skiing as well! Becky was a perfect host with quick responses to all my inquiries. We would recommend this property with a 5 star review.
The indoor pool at the Spa and Health Center was great on the rainy, no ski day!

Friends Ski Trip

We had 6 couples together for a kid-free ski trip and this place was perfect. The house was clean, well maintained and had everything we needed. We had a blast and would stay again.

Golf trip

We had a phenominal time and a lot of that had to do with the beautiful home we stayed at, and the location of the home. The owners were very accommodating and responsive and the home had all the amenities needed to have a great time. The owners thought of everything. This golf trip was a life time memory for all of us and the home had a lot to do with it.

Great winter stay for family and friends

Everybody really enjoyed the house and many commented how comfortable it felt. The house was very clean, we did not lack for any supplies, plenty of room for three families with kids. The bunk beds were a big hit. Communication with Becky was always very prompt. We'll definitely be back next year!

Father son ski weekend

We had a ski weekend with 4 dads and 6 boys aged 11-13. We had a great time. The house was perfect for us, plenty of room with everything you would need/want. Everyone had their own bed, boys all got to sleep together in the bunk bed room and the dads all had their own room. Plus, we were only a minute or so from Crystal Mountain slopes. Thank you Becky for a great weekend!

Team building retreat

We rented two properties from Paul and Becky in January of 2024 for a work retreat/ski weekend (Willy T’s Crystal Mountain Ski & Golf Cottage and Located on the #7 Tee at the Betsie Valley Golf Course). Between the two properties, we hosted a total of 10 adults, each with their own bedroom (5 bedrooms in each property). Both homes were meticulously maintained, had very clear instructions and easy communication with Paul and Becky. There was plenty of space for collaborating as a team and great common space for games and fun after work was done. We would definitely stay again, both properties were great for a ski weekend and would be just as convenient for a weekend of golf.

Fabulous house for a group outing to Crystal Mountain!

A group of 4 families who have traveled all over Michigan on ski trips recently stayed at this house and we were very impressed. In fact, the group stated we think this was our favorite house that we have rented over the years. The house is beautiful, well stocked with linens and towels and cooking supplies, and had ample room for all of us. The large driveway in front easily held 4 suburbans (which has been a problem for us in the past) and we were a short drive to the Crystal slopes. Although the shuttle service was available, we did not use. Becky was extremely responsive, helpful, and friendly. We hope to return in the future!

Family Ski Trip

We arrived on a beautiful snowy day to this beautiful, well maintained and well equipped home close to Crystal Mountain. There was plenty of room for everyone to hang out, including an open kitchen/dining/living room upstairs and a family room with bar area in the lower walkout level. We appreciated the shuttle pass to get to the chair lifts at Crystal easily for several days of skiing. We also enjoyed roasting Hot Dogs and marshmallows on the outdoor fire pit, too! Becky and Paul were easy to communicate with and answered all of our questions quickly. Thank you for helping to make wonderful memories at Crystal Mntn for our family!

Great house for a family group

Becky was phenomenal! She answered all our questions immediately and supplied additional items we needed for our family. The house was decorated so nicely for Christmas, which made it extra special for the holidays. Loved our stay in a lovely home with great proximity to Crystal Mountain and all it offers.
