Perfect for large groups. Lots of space to stretch out. Convenient to all the sights of Niagara and just down the street from the Rainbow Bridge into Canada.

My Review
Overall, the house was nice on the inside. Neighborhood was not great. When we asked about certain things in the house that were broken, we got no response from the owner. Cleaners were there when we got there at the designated time and showed up more than an hour earlier than check out.

this home is clean. It has very minimal furnishings. They did respond to our requests quickly. The living room furniture is old and falling apart. There are very few outlets in the living room. The dining room chairs were a little scary to sit on. Maybe some tightening will help that??? There are no closets in the bedrooms. I would suggest putting up something to hang clothing on in the room. It did accommodate our group of 16 well overall
The house was perfect for our needs with our large group of 16. It was very clean with lots of space for sleeping. It was very close to falls, only a 5 min drive to the main parking area for falls exploration. The only downside to this property is the neighborhood. The other houses on the block are very run down and some unoccupied. The neighbors near the house were friendly. Overall we enjoyed the house, the beds were comfortable and the location fit the needs for our trip.

Thank you for the feedback, Sarah! We are so glad you enjoyed your stay at The Double Down.
The house was as advertized. It was clean, spacious, and the neighborhood was old but quiet. We rented both sides since we had a very large group with lots of children. The only problem was the key code for one side din't work initially, however, they sent a new code thatbworked, so real no real problem there. The kitchens were nice and spacious for cooking with a decent supply of cooking utensils and cookware. There were plenty of bedrooms and bathrooms so we had no one waiting for bathroom time. The onlynproblem Inhad was that not all the bedrooms had closets or anplace to hang clothes. It was ok for the 3 days we were there. There was at least one drawer space in each bedroom. If we had any questiins or concerns, we just texted and got prompt replies. Of course the price was very affordable for that sized house. I did like that there was enough parking space for 3 vehicles in the back and we didn't have to remember the street parking rules. We enjoyed ourselves and would rent again in the future.
Working class neighborhood but quiet and safe. Lots of street parking. 10 minutes to major grocery stores and commercial street.
The house is a duplex that is connected on the third floor. There is a kitchen, living, snd dining room on each side of the house. But you will need to walk all the way to the top floor and down to get from one side to the other. Therefore if you have elderly who cannot do a lot of stairs, it will be hard for them to venture to the other half of the house. The living rooms have plenty of places to sit. The house is plenty big for all 14 of us.
The management very responsive.. Thank you for a wonderful stay.

Great location, run down property
Good: location, space to park 3 cars in the back, lots of beds. The people we worked with were kind and professional, very responsive to extra requests we had for pillows and towels and a pack-n-play.
Bad: The house is pretty run down compared to the pictures shown on the listing. The couches are all worn out. The beds are really worn and I don't believe they are queen size, they felt more like a full than a queen. The faucets are poorly installed, the toilet's aren't sealed correctly, the stairs creek loudly, the fans squeak loudly on some settings, making it hard to use them at night when you want to sleep.
Ugly: The toilet on the third floor clogged and didn't have the safety features in place that new toilets have, to prevent flooding. The kids didn't tell us it clogged so for about 5 minutes we were scrambling trying to figure out why water was leaking from the ceiling into the dining area. We finally got the toilet unclogged and saw that the water connection to the toilet comes up from the floor but wasn't sealed, so all the water from the toilet went down that hole, and straight to the dining area. We caught a lot of the water and set down towels to try and get the rest. Maintenance took a day to get over to sanitize things (hopefully) after we dried it up. Luckily we rented the whole house, so we just moved our dining to the other side. The oven and stove on the other side didn't work so we had to cook on the sewage side and then carry it over to the dining side.
