We had an amazing time. The house was well maintained and even though close to neighbors so very quiet and private. Short drive to shops and restaurants. The views with fall foliage were stunning. 10 out of 10.
The house was clean and cozy—perfect for the two of us. The lake views were beautiful, and we loved having coffee on the deck and watching sunsets over the water. Would definitely recommend!
We enjoyed the wineries and villages. The trucks on 54 are pretty distracting. Lake view from 2nd level needs trees trimmed and windows cleaned. Overall a very good trip for our first vrbo.
We had so much fun on our vacation here! The beach area was a good size, enjoyed a fire in the fire pit. Neighborhood was very quiet, courteous neighbors. The home was as beautiful as the photos show. We really enjoyed ourselves!
My husband and I stayed at the property for three nights. It was perfect for the two of us and the location was awesome. Would definitely stay there again!
This was a beautiful home that we loved staying at. It was off season so it was a little slow around the area but that was nice for our getaway. My boyfriend said he wants to own a house like this one day. Thank you for allowing us to stay here, we had a great time!
The home was tastefully decorated. The bed was very comfortable and the home was clean. It was perfect for our last days of vacation.

Pros: Property is exceptionally clean. Inside of the house is very well done. Cabin type feel. Comfortable bed. Views from house of Keuka Lake are very nice. Very nice "outdoor" room with screens. Waterfront area is nice but not easy to get to. Cons: Layout is a little off. Be prepared to hike A LOT of stairs. Bedroom is on second floor. Bathroom and Kitchen are on first floor, "living room" or where you might go to relax and look at the lake is one level below the kitchen. Which is also where the refrigerator is. Fridge is NOT in the kitchen which makes food prep a royal pain. Which is odd because there is clearly room in the kitchen for the fridge. Kitchen does not have an oven. Only a stove top and a microwave. Bathroom is small but has what you need. Shower is a tight fit. To get to the waterfront you will need to descend A LOT of stairs. So eating or grilling will require hiking up and down a lot of stairs with everything you need. If you are looking to grill, there is a charcoal Weber grill, however it's at the bottom of the stairs by the waterfront. Overall....not a bad place but I wouldn't recommend renting for more than a couple days tops unless you love taking the stairs for just about everything. Definitely not for anyone who struggles with walking or stairs.
We loved this place! It felt like a treehouse nestled on the hill. The layout was perfect for the 3 of us, we all had our own space and each level had a different feel. The lakefront was great, we had a fire and stargazed on the dock. A well-designed "tiny house", it felt very spacious for the size. A fair warning to anyone with mobility issues, there are many stairs to navigate- but it was good to get out hiking legs in shape. We absolutely would stay here again!
Exactly what we were looking for! perfect place for some peace & quiet by beautiful Keuka Lake!! Such a lovely place, so clean and amazing views from every level!! Simple check in/out.
Very clean, very nice, very modern house. Right on the water with a picnic table, grill, and fire pit right on the beach. Very nice lake getaway for a couple. The house is very nice, but probably best for young/fit people because there are A LOT of stairs. Going from bedroom, to dining area, to sitting area, to beach and toting stuff like a cooler or some wood down to the water is a workout. Not a deal breaker, still very nice for the price, but you will definitely get your steps in! Great place to just chill by the lake and swim, or just a short trip to Hammondsport for some great food and fun.
We can understand that the steep bank facing the water needs foliage to help prevent erosion. However, possibly some strategic trimming/ removal of some branches would enhance the scenic views. Many views seemed blocked by the trees.
I would also wish to add how wonderful the place smelled when walking in each time. The smell of the wood was refreshing. I really appreciated how clean everything was as well.
Beautiful house but too many stairs for seniors like us. Bath and bed not on same floor. Reffigerator not on floor with kitchen,

Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, location
Enjoyed the stay but very disappointed
The house was pleasant and beautiful. Pine tongue and groove And it was appointed well to make your stay comfortable and serviceable. A wine cooler and full refrigerator. An electric cook top plus a convection oven. A toaster and Keurig coffee maker. Plus a variety of amenities to make the traveler feel at home. When you went down to the sitting (living) room you felt like you were sneaking down into your own secret hide-a-way.
But…we were very disappointed in the “amazing waterfront view.”
The property was promoted as having an “amazing waterfront view” which we looked forward to. It rained on and off for the three days we were there and one day was basically all rainy and dreary. No problem, we are senior citizens and the most we would have been doing is dangling our feet in the water off the dock. Our purpose was a couple days away by the water enjoying the water view. Since we didn’t get much time down by the water we looked forward to lounging around and watching the water from the kitchen, the sitting room or the small screened in porch all of which had huge windows looking out at the water. But that was a bust.
It seems the photos showing the waterfront view were taken in the winter when there were no leaves on the trees. The whole waterfront side of the house is filled to above the roof with trees. At this time of year the trees are in bloom and you could hardly see water except maybe a porthole view thru a few branches. Which was very disappointing.
The space is small, but well-equipped, clean and in great condition. Bed was comfortable, wifi was great. Kitchen is really a kitchenette with only a dorm-sized fridge (but was honestly large enough for our needs) and the microwave is also a convection oven. So it's small but quite sufficient!
A few things to know before you go:
1) There is no way to get a kayak down to the lake. The only access is by the stairs. No nearby launch site that we could find.
2) There may be parking for 2 cars, but it was only large enough for 1 full-sized pickup.
Would we go again knowing what we know now? Aboslutely!
