This is such a charming place!

This vrbo was in a great location for our visit to see a new grandbaby and spend time with family. There are restaurants, shopping, and things to do right down the street a bit. We enjoyed local restaurants along with a few chains. The kids enjoyed going to the arcade and doing some golfing. The garden is so very nice! We enjoyed breakfast there one morning, and I sat with a cup of coffee listening to the pond and birds when I woke up before everyone else. The hosts have done a lovely job with the decor. Both of their skills are awe-inspiring. There were little touches in the bedrooms and bathrooms that were deeply appreciated. The beds were comfortable, and the bathrooms worked out well. It was nice to have the kitchen and a coffeemaker available with coffee! The hosts love for travel and eagerness to share their home was apparent. We would definitely stay again if we needed to! Thank you! PS: The only thing we were uncomfortable with was the check-in in person the next day. It made it feel a little less like a Vrbo stay when the people who live in the home showed up to check you in. (We felt we were intruding on thier space, then. We prefer the book explaining the property and area method and electric coded doors. )

We are so glad that you enjoyed your stay. Our check-in time is 3:00-5:00pm which allows us to greet our guests in person and show how to turn on deck lights etc. It usually goes very smoothly and we are out in 15 minutes but because your arrival was 8:00pm we went ahead and let you go on in and we came the next day to show how things worked. We are sorry that the process made you feel uncomfortable. We love meeting guests and actually prefer it to a digital entry because the property is our permanent residence when we don’t have guests. I’m sure you can appreciate wanting to personally greet each guest. We hope that you get to visit again. We would love to have you. We would not have our home listed on multiple short term rental platforms if we felt guests were putting us out. It actually gives us an opportunity to go enjoy our cabin which is where we stay when it’s booked and that’s a good thing.
