The Mermaid Jungle House W/Private "Heated" Pool

Welcome to the Mermaid Jungle House. We got the inspiration because when you walk out the back door leading to your very own in ground heated swimming pool, you literally feel like your in a jungle by all of the surrounding palms and exotic plants, not to mention the misc. mermaid motif uniquely placed all around.

This house is located in an private gated community. This property has 3 generously sized bedrooms and 2 full sized bathrooms. There is a full sized kitchen and dining room with place settings for up to 8 ppl that overlooks the living room and den area.

Beyond the doors leading to the backyard, you will find yourself in your own little oasis. There is seating on the patio that overlooks the quaint in ground heated swimming pool with waterfall. There's something very serene about listening to the nature and the water flowing through the waterfall.

Some other great things to know, there are a lot of great options for the beach, restaurants, shopping, grocery stores, etc. This house is conveniently located just a couple miles from I95 which leads you to a multitude of fun things. The Beach is approx 7 miles east. The Melbourne Mall is within a few miles along with The Brevard Zoo, Camp Holly Airboats, Andretti thrill park and so much more. Orlando Airport (MCO) is approx 50 miles. Disney World 70 miles away. The Melbourne airport (MLB) is approx 2 miles away. All the best golf courses are just a few miles away. I can't forget to mention Kennedy Space Center or Cape Canaveral.

Also note Rocket Launches are a pretty cool experience to see up close in personal, but if you don't feel like making that 40 min drive to Kennedy or Space X you will be able to see most Rockets flying through the air from my driveway.

Load and start the dishwasher
Strip any used beds and gather used towels
Remove personal items and take out the rubbish
Turn off the lights, lock the doors and return the keys
Please take trash to curb the night before if you are departing Monday thru Thursday
Please put any used pool toys away, put patio and pull deck furniture back in its place, put cushions in storage bin
Make sure the coffee grounds are emptied and rinse out coffee pot
Failure to complete these may result in a negative review from the host.
Absolutely no illegal drugs. No Food in bedrooms. No wet towels left on carpet. Pull lint out of lint trap. No glass on pool deck. No fighting.
Must have fun at all times. Relax and enjoy your time!!! No EV car charging. An extra fee of $15-30 will be added per day if rule is broken.
No disturbing the neighbors, please be mindful that this is a small family community.

Great and Relaxing Week

We spent a week here to spend time with our son who attends Florida Tech. We enjoyed the quiet neighborhood and the location is perfect for a short trip to campus, the beach, food, etc. Pool was nice and we spent many hours in the back yard enjoying the outdoors.

Nice Home, Conveniently Located

The house was great for our trip. We were in that area for a baseball tournament at Space Coast Stadium. The stadium, beach, restaurants, shopping were all easily accessible from the house. I highly recommend this home.

Overall description of house and everything is very accurate. We just had a couple concerns when we first got there nothing major basically with the pool but property manager was very quick to respond and got things resolved almost immediately. Would recommend this day to anyone thinking about melbourne.

Property was comfortable, especially furniture and beds were great! There was lots of nice-to-haves including throw blankets a well-stocked pantry. Everything worked, which is not always the case with VRBOs.

The Great Escape from reality

Looking for a place to relax but still feel at home? The mermaid jungle is the perfect spot!! If there is a complaint it’s that the pool gets dirty very quickly bc of the “jungle” out back. That being said the pool guy advised we send a message to Shelly and he would have been right over. The house was comfy and accommodating! I would bring my family back to vacation here!!! Host was very responsive and the house was very clean!!!

Great stay

We were there for a baseball tournament. Quick access from the property to the highway. No matter the time of day, the trip to and from the park was on 15 minutes. The pool made cooling off easy after a long day of multiple games.

Excellent Florida Getaway

We traveled to Florida from Indiana for spring break. We absolutely loved staying in the Mermaid Jungle House!! It has everything you could need and more! The decor is on point and the coziness is perfection! The pool is fantastic! Shelly was the perfect hostess and made certain we were very comfortable! I highly recommend this home! We will be back!!

The rental was everything you could ask for. We all loved the private tropical outdoor space. The landscaping is amazing with all the unique plants and the pool was perfect. The owner has thought of everything and those little extras defintely make this house stand out from the rest. There were plenty of towels, linens, pillows and even night lights in the hallways. The kitchen was even stocked with coffee filters and seasonings. We forgot about buying sugar for our coffee and sure enough there was enough for the morning until we could get back and buy more. We ate most of our meals out, but you had everything you needed. You can fly in from out of state and truly be comfortable and not stress about things you wish you could bring. My daughter loved having pool floats that she could use. Of all the rentals we have stayed in from San Antonio, Texas to the Finger Lakes in NY, this was by far the best experience. Thank you for making our "too short of a trip", extra enjoyable!

Family vacation

House was as described, very well stocked with everything needed. The weather was cool, we werent able to use the heated pool as much as we'd have liked. Had the weather cooperated, it would have been great for the kids entertainment. It is a very convenient location, close to everything we needed. Host was very responsive to any questions we had.

Lovely house and host!

Came for a short weekend to visit family and celebrate birthdays! The Mermaid Jungle house was the prefect spot! The house was spacious and decorated in super cute mermaid/coastal theme! The beds were all very comfortable! We all enjoyed the pool and outdoor “jungle” the whole time. Shelly, our host, was very quick and responsive to issue with the air unit and had it fixed within the hour! We will definitely stay again when traveling to see family! Thanks for the fantastic stay!!

Sweet House in a Wonderful Neighborhood

We stayed at the Mermaid Jungle for an extended weekend. We had a wonderful time and pleasant stay. The house had everything that we needed for our stay and Shelly was awesome! The response time to our questions was practically immediate. The house was located in a safe, gated neighborhood and the neighbors were so kind! We would definitely stay here again if travels ever brought us back to Melbourne. Shelly, you were amazing and thank you so much for everything!
