We loved everything about our stay, location to restaurants and walking the riverwalk. We enjoyed how clean and comfortable the whole house was. We stayed here for about four weeks while we purchased and moved into our own home and it was absolutely perfect for what we needed. Kathryn was very responsive and the couple of occasions we needed things or had questions. We would definitely stay here again.

This visit was our second or third at this property downtown. Although we basically just slept at this home, it had all you would need. Would definitely return at another time!

Wonderful stay

We live locally and needed a place to stay before we closed on our new home. With most items packed away in storage, this home met all our needs and still provided the comfort of home and great views. Short walk to park, brewery, and work. It was perfect. Will stay again and certainly recommend.

Wonderful stay!

Park Place had everything we needed during our 4 night stay. It was incredibly clean and well located, with a park down the street and a coffee shop within walking distance. We enjoyed sitting on the cute front porch and waving as people went by. Highly recommended!

Great property

We just stayed at this property for a week and have no complaints. The house was very clean and maintained well. Towels and linens were nice. Great location for visiting our son at Camp Lejuene and not too far for some beach days as well. Would definitely stay here again!

Great property! Well maintained. Would stay again. Convenient to both Camp Lejeune and New River. Lots to do for littles. Library , splash pad, movies! House and host both wonderful.

This house was absolutely perfect for 5 adults and 2 doodles! Plenty of room and we enjoyed the fenced in yard. The host was very prompt with their communications and had the house well prepared for our stay. Definitely recommend this host and property!

Comfortable, attractive house in quiet setting near downtown

Park Place was the perfect base for our trip to Jacksonville. It's in a quiet residential area adjacent to downtown stores, restaurants, and government center. It's also less than a block from Riverwalk Park, a green space leading to Kerr Street Park along the river, with a dock and kayak rental kiosk.Highly recommended nearby establishments include Clove Hitch Beer Company and Chicano Street Kitchen.The house is attractive, on a corner lot. There are a full well-equipped kitchen, a living and dining area, and two bedrooms, each with a full bathroom. The porch wraps around two sides of the house. We found it a comfortable place to sit for conversation and reading.Park Place is a great find and a great value, highly recommended!

Amazing

We could not have picked a more perfect VROB for our stay in Jacksonville. The house was very clean and comfortable. Beds and furniture were very nice. We really enjoyed the park across the street. The location is very beautiful. We will definitely stay there again in the future.

Well appointed, cozy and so much better than a small hotel room. The owner thought of everything from the bathroom extras to the morning coffee and snacks. Very clean and looks brand new. Perfect for our getaway.

Great quiet location near Marine Blvd.

The property was clean and had everything you needed. Could have used some curtains in the bedrooms as it got bright when the sun came out. Other than that, we enjoyed it and would love to return in the future.

Quick weekend visit

We have family in the area and came from Virginia for a wedding. We loved the house and the area. I’ve stayed at a few VRBO properties and this is one of my favorites. It is stocked with almost anything you would need. Even shampoo, conditioner, lotions and personal care products! It was clean and comfortable and updated. The neighborhood was great with a park and the river close by and super quiet! We definitely will stay here again.

Every detail perfect

This property was exactly what we needed and exactly as described. The game room was a huge hit with our kids (and the adults :) )They had everything we needed, right down to coffee and creamer, shampoo and soap. My husband participated in a Duathlon that went right by the nearby park and we were able to walk over to see him compete. Also easy to get to other areas nearby. Would definitely stay here again if we are back in the area!

FANTASTIC HOME

We had a quick stay on the way to my sons Marine graduation. This home was perfectly decorated exceptionally clean and provided everything we could possibly have needed. Kathy was a wonderful host and would HIGHLY recommend her place!!! She even mailed back an item that was left behind with no hesitation or questions asked. The pictures are accurate!

The lovely pictures you see online for this listing are accurate. It's a beautiful home in a historic area. Additionally, the host did such a great job selecting the bath products and linens that I have made a note so I could buy the same ones! I am the most (annoyingly) difficult to please out of the guests I had with me, and for once we all agreed on the quality of something- this property. This home was the right choice, and Kathryn (the property host) did a very fine job.
