Great location in a small, old school town. Very nice property, well decorated and appointed. Note this is a loft style house and the upstairs is only curtained off from the rest of the home. Easy entry - recommended.
Clean, functional, attractive property in an amazing little neighborhood with dining, parks and Sandy point beach all in easy walking distance. We loved the QUIET on the screen porch
Didnt get to spend much time in/around the property as we were there for Marine graduation. Hoping to get back soon to explore the area more.Home was very clean, super cute. Would definitely return
This place was absolutely amazing! The neighborhood was peaceful and so beautiful. The house was perfect for our honeymoon get away, will be booking again!

Liked: Cleanliness, location, listing accuracy
Disliked: Check-in, communication
Communication was okay, messaged multiple times about checking in earlier or adding an extra day and was ignored….the key in the lockbox was for the door around the house which was inconvenient in the dark. Would make sense if the lockbox would’ve opened the screen door facing the street. Hammocks were dirty, which is honestly the reason why I booked the place so I didn’t even get in the hammocks, other than that it was pretty good.

Thank you for sharing your feedback and for choosing to stay with TideWatch Vacations. We’re glad to hear you enjoyed your stay overall, but we sincerely apologize for the frustration you experienced with communication and the inconveniences during check-in. We understand how important timely responses are, especially when coordinating arrival details, and we’re sorry we did not meet expectations in that area.
We also appreciate you bringing the lockbox setup and hammock cleanliness to our attention. We can understand how arriving in the dark made access more difficult, and your suggestion regarding the screen door entry is very helpful. Additionally, we regret that the hammocks were not ready for you to enjoy, especially since they were one of the highlights that drew you to the property. Our team is addressing these concerns with housekeeping and operations to help ensure a smoother and more comfortable experience for future guests.
Thank you again for your honest feedback. It helps us improve, and we hope we’ll have the opportunity to provide you with a much better experience on a future stay.
Lovely coastal property for our stay in Beaufort County. Perfect for a couple, nice amenities, quiet neighborhood. Could use an update to the entry/check-in...the key vault was cranky.
Would stay here again in a heartbeat. This property had everything we needed and more. Cute place with all of the necessities. Great location - quiet neighborhood.
Really nice place. It was perfect for me and my husband visiting our Navy son who is at Parris Island. Lots of stuff within walking distance (Shellring Ale, Fish Camp, Madison’s, Maynard’s ice cream, Griddle and Grits) and very drivable to the beach or downtown Beaufort. The place was very well equipped with towels, dishes, coffee maker, etc. Would definitely stay there again.
This property was perfect for me and my husband. Not too big, not too small. It was clean and very nicely decorated. Super cute and quiet little town in a great location. I would definitely stay here again and would highly recomend.
We love Port Royal and this place! One of the best places in SC to be! Great walkable neighborhood, short drive to Hunting Is. and the Spanish Moss Trail for biking. What is not to love?
We simply loved the house. It had so many things we didn't expect. Like fairly new kitchen and baths, screened porch with outer deck. Updated appliances. Loved the chandeliers and lighting. Loved the two bathrooms.
The photos on VRBO are nice but the property itself was much nicer. It was a beautiful space inside and perfect for Me and Wife and Grown Daughter and we had a bed left over. Two Block walk to Fish House restaurant and the brewery with great view at both. Short drive to Beaufort and very nice Hunting Island Beach. Definitely one of the more relaxing stays I have experienced. Wish we had more time. If there was a negative it was the screened porch which was also nice still allowed mosquitoes at night because of all the water nearby but we never had any problems inside the home. Definitely recommend.
The accommodations were excellent. High end and comfortable furniture. Nice cooking pots and pans, knives and other items in the kitchen. The location was excellent. Walking distance to much of Port Royal if you don't mind walking a little bit further than what most people think of when they hear "walking distance".
Would like to suggest that a brace or turnbuckle be installed on the screen door. If the opportunity presents itself would also suggest that the screen door be hinged on the opposite side that it is. That way when a renter parks in the driveway they don't have to navigate around the door when carrying groceries or luggage.
Great house and locale but simple issues need be to resolve. We got a "somewhat reasonable credit" but overall disappointing as intended a nice smooth weekend. It was not, lots of issues.
1-very bad stopped up drains in showers
2-stairs' risers has wide openings not good for kids
3-didnt get a 2nd house key on counter
4-HVAC filter was super duper dirty and noisy
5-several light fixturers/electrical uncapped on walls
6-older thin bath towels
7-beach towels had prior renters underwear and socks in them
This was the perfect house and location for our 17th anniversary. The house was well stocked with all the necessities and was extremely clean. We would love to come back and stay again. Highly recommend if you want a peaceful/relaxing getaway.
We thoroughly enjoyed our stay in this delightful location. The house was modern, clean, and very well-appointed. We fell in love with Port Royal during our stay to the point where I kept looking at real estate in the area. The history and charm of this quiet town covered in Spanish moss was intoxicating. We rode our bikes on the Spanish Moss Trail into Beaufort for the Water Festival. Anyway yes the house itself was fantastic. Comfortable bed, spacious, and stocked with every utensil you would ever need in addition to plentiful towels, TP, and paper towels. Would definitely stay here again.
We absolutely loved our stay here! The house was beautiful. It is stocked with absolutely everything we needed! The out door patio is AMAZING and the fans really help keep a breeze on hot nights! We will absolutely be back!
