The location is the overall best thing about this property. The bed is soft but adequate. Doug is a good communicator, check-in was easy, and we had off-street parking.
The property met of our needs. Was clean and bed was comfortable. We would recommend a few more pillows. Guests should know it’s a small space but no problems at all!
This place has just the bare necessities, but that’s just fine if you won’t be spending much time sitting around. Everything is in one room , a bit like a dorm, so this is no place to impress a date. It’s not very central to downtown or to any grocery stores/restaurants, so a car is a must. Plus it’s near a main road, and the locals seem to enjoy having obscenely loud trucks—this is not a rental for light sleepers! But if you’re looking for an affordable and private space for Notre Dame-related activities, you can do a lot worse.

(1) After I had fully paid for my stay, the host contacted me to say I had not completed payment. I told him I could see the payments on my credit card. He finally acknowledged that they had a new system and that the mistake was on his end. (2) The host never told me the number of the unit I was in, and I when I arrived at the address, I discovered that this was a multi-unit property, and had to guess which unit was mine. (3) The host communicated to me that the unit was on the west side of the building, but it was on the south side, so I spent the first 15 minutes trying to figure out which unit was mine. (4) The unit needs maintenance - the lamp next to the bed is broken, and the faucet in the kitchenette sprays outward horizontally instead of downward. (5) The cheap towels left all kinds of fuzz balls all over the bathroom. (6) The floor in the unit was dirty. (7) The bed is uncomfortable with a cheap mattress. (8) The next door neighbors warned me not to park in the street because other cars driving by would frequently clip their cars. (9) My last day at the place, a group of drunk college students left a pile of beer cans and trash in front of my unit. (10) The same drunk college students decided to have an extremely loud party that night, and I ended up having to call the police to come tell them to shut it down. (11) The walls are so thin I could hear the person in the unit next to mine snooring all night. (12) Because of the party and snoring, I only slept a few hours
