We were greeted by Joseph when we arrived. He was very welcoming and friendly. He fully explained everything we needed to know about the property. The owner communicated with us from start to finish. The house, guest house and apartment were all very nice and well maintained. The house was beautiful and had everything we needed. Our family thoroughly enjoyed the visit there. Everything was very clean when we arrived and the house was nicely decorated. I would highly recommend this vacation home for anyone looking to relax in a quiet area and comfortable environment.

Bandon area family gathering

Our group consisted of two grandparents and our children with spouses and their four kids. Annual family vacation which included golf and local sightseeing. The home was perfect for our large group and had all the toys we needed to enjoy the lake, nice layout with plenty of private space and a beautiful kitchen. I would recommend the home.

A wonderful property in an idyllic location

We loved everything about it: the location was perfect - the house was perched on the edge of a lake and near the beach. Kayaks and paddle boards were available to use and there was a hot tub. It was a beautiful spot - the lake surrounded by pine and fir trees - and beautifully quiet. The house was very spacious and furnished to a high standard. We did not want to venture far as we had so much to enjoy at hand. Port Orford and Bandon were only 20/30 minutes away and both on a stunning stretch of coast. A fabulous holiday.

Everything you need

Spacious property to accommodate our family gathering of 13. Main floor provided perfect gathering space for everyone. The main bedroom was luxurious and easily accessible for elderly family members. The separate rooms/suite/guest house allowed everyone their own privacy and are accompanied by many provisions to make it feel comfortable. The house is decorated with care/thoughtfulness and very clean. The pool table, SUPs, kayaks, hot tub were great to keep everyone entertained. Easy access to the lake and short trip to the beach to explore the picturesque views. Fishing off the dock had some luck in the evening. Groceries and restaurants nearby and within 20 miles. Check-in and check-out was easy. Quick and easy communication with the owner and property manager. Would book this property again in the future.

Xmas family gathering

Christian‘s place was perfect for us, with enough space for 12 people. Unfortunately, when we arrived, the heat pump on one side of the house was broken, so we were using space heaters, and within 24 hours the heat on the other side of the house went out, the heat pump stopped working. Also, we will be disappointed that the hot tub that we had looked forward to was non-operative. This apparently was known before we arrived, and the person in charge of the house had not been able to get it fixed or replace it. All of the above remained broken the entire time we were there which was eight days. The host offered to give us a further night for free, but our plans would not allow for that. One other problem was that the winds were quite strong at night, and the power went out and part of the house. The the problem was with the circuit breakers, but unfortunately, the panel was locked and we could not access it. The caretaker was quite cooperative in coming to unlock it as soon as we called him. So 00, the house is wonderful situated on a lake near the ocean, spacious, but more care needs to be taken to maintain the house and get it ready for visitors.
