Spectacular location and property. Wonderful communication with the owners and they were extremely helpful with local events and places to dine, etc. Property is very well maintained and an absolute gem of a location. I recommend to anyone who is in the area. Thank you so much for sharing your property.
Cabin is cozy and right on the lake. Beautiful view and sunsets, close to town but still remote. Bring your own drinking water as the well water has a little smell to it.
Rent the po toon if available!
Very nice quaint property. If not traveling with a group and both cabins are occupied the "commons" area between the cabins can feel crowded. Over all the location is excellent and the host is very responsive and friendly. All amenities one would need for a stay are provided. Very nice place to get away to on a quiet dead end road.
The cabin was great. Its has everything you'd ever need and then some! The bathroom in the cabin was larger than I'd expected. We had access to kayaks canoe and rowboat as well. Which i would have loved to enjoy during my stay but was unable to due to the weather being rainy and windy. There is a public boat launch right off the cabin which gets a little traffic. The lawn in front of the cabin is quite uneven so that posed some difficulty for my mom who has a hard time getting around easily. The lake is beautiful, fishing was tough likely due to the weather. My only criticism with this cabin is that we noticed many wasps, spiders and asian beetles in the bathroom. It was a little disconcerting but other than that we enjoyed our time there.
This cabin was perfect for our weekend away. We had plans for the weekend but I wish we could have stayed longer to go out on the lake in the kayaks available. It was so beautiful walking up and seeing the lake. We will be back and will be recommending this as a place for our friends.
My weekend getaway with my kiddos and family was great! We really enjoyed the quiet lake along with the pontoon and other boats. The cabin was stocked with everything you could possibly need. Excellent communication about my stay! Thank you!!
By far the quietest and most relaxing lake I have stayed on, which was very nice. Good lake for kids as there is not a lot of boat traffic which made the paddle boat and kayaks a nice option. Would recommend!
The experience was good. Positives- Location on the lake, cleanliness was outstanding, kayaks, paddleboat, and firepit was great. The neighbors were very considerate. Concerns- Rustic cabin that could use more internal lighting. The water had the typical iron taste and smell. Future residents not use to iron in water may want to bring drinking water. Finally, we didn't have bath towels. We bought two and accidently left them behind. Overall, a good experience.
Cute cabin on the lake great for my family. Owner was very nice and responded in timely manner to questions.

About the host

We vacationed in these cabins four summers in a row and fell in love with them and the area! We love the quietness of the cabins and the serene beauty surrounding the cabins.
What makes this property unique
The cabins sit about 50 feet from the water on top of a small ridge which overlooks the entire lake. There is an island in the middle which is the adopted home of two bald eagles which build a large nest every year. The lake is spring fed from a slew on the east side of the lake, which makes it very clear and refreshing to swim in. The deepest part of the lake is about 50' deep with most of it around 5-15' deep. We enjoy fishing, biking, riding the ATV trails, going to Hayward for golf/shopping, kayaking or tubing down the Chippewa River, hunting in the Fall, and exploring the thousands of acres of Chequamegon National Forest. It is truly a wonderful place to visit.
