We were warmly welcomed by Mathieu on arrival. He spoke perfect English, which meant that we communicated very easily. He showed us around his stunning villa, which had a Hollywoodesque feel about it, especially as the location felt likewise.The place was spotlessly clean, and the pool looked very inviting.There's a large open roofed area immediately outside the kitchen where we spent a lot of time relaxing on the comfy chairs, or eating around the dining table.The area is perfect for visiting lots of interesting places, all no more than an hour's drive away.We visited Montpellier, Nimes, Arles, Sommieres, and one of France's most beautiful villages - Saint Guilhem le Desert. We also went to the Ornithological Park in the Camargue where we saw literally hundreds of Flamingos and several other species of birds too.There is a large supermarket just a five minute drive away, and an interesting eat-in food hall just opposite and around the corner, which we also accessed by walking through the forest behind the villa.We were neve stuck for anything to do. We would certainly consider staying here again without any hesitation. We had a wonderful holiday.
