Located near airport, Lewisburg, Greenbrier River Trail, the Greenbrier Resort (15 min), Snowshoe Ski Area (75 min). Fun boutiques, antique stores as well as upscale shopping and casino at the Greenbrier Resort nearby.

***Actual GPS location is 749 Vago Rd, for location reference. Address was changed several years ago, but is not recognized by most GPS apps.

*** Entire home isn't available - the garage and back hallway are separate for the owners when owners are visiting from out of state. Not available for month long rentals. OWNERS WILL NOT BE ON SITE WHILE GUESTS ARE RENTING HOME. GUESTS HAVE COMPLETE PRIVACY.

Simple place with all you need

This little country home is plain, clean and comfortable./, and it is just a short drive to Lewisburg. The view out the front window calms the soul, and the fenced yard is a wonderful amenity for those of us traveling with a dog. We would stay there again in a heartbeat.

Nice Quiet Location

I stayed for a few days here as time to get away from all the noise. It was a peaceful little property with all the amenities I needed and was close to stores. Downtown Lewisburg was adorable. I’d definitely recommend for anyone looking for a quiet little property.

The view from the porch was beautiful. You feel tucked away from the world but town is a short trip. Lots of options for food and shopping. This was our second stay and we were not disappointed. Communication with the owner is very good.

A slice of "almost heaven" in WV

The house and property were perfect! Quiet, peaceful, spectacular views. Great walks with historic chapel nearby. Huge kitchen, huge front porch, fenced in yard for our little doggie where she played with fireflies every evening. Terrific experience!

Nice old country home

We were staying in the area to visit Lewisburg for the chocolate festival as well as some of the outdoor activities available such as spelunking. This is an older country home with its charm, including a non working outhouse! I really liked it because it kept us out of the busyness of downtown Lewisburg and gave me some great opportunities for some nice pictures!

Melanie has a precious home in a beautiful corner of West Virginia. The porch over looks rolling hills with grazing cows and she had everything we needed in the home to cook, watch movies etc. thanks again!!

We couldn’t have been happier with our stay! It’s the perfect distance to be out of the busyness of town, but close enough to get to multiple areas in a short amount of time. Even better than last time

No complaints. Everything was in order and all of our needs were met. Our dogs LOVE the fenced in backyard. We spent a lot of time on the front porch enjoying the view. We saw lots of deer and there was a double rainbow one day. Loved it.

A quiet peaceful stay but still close to entertainment and restaurants. Property owner had many thoughtful amenities such as robes, sundry items, thick towels and plenty of coffee. Books of many subjects and games for quiet times are in abundance. Owners are readily available by phone if needed. Reminiscent of an old farm cottage with lots of charm.

Quaint homestead

It seemed to be an old homestead with some modern upgrades. Still on the rustic side but the home was clean, bug free and homey. Nice sized rooms and a great kitchen area. It is tucked away from town but only 10-15 minutes to restaurants and a Walmart, and 20 minutes to the Greenbriar. Downtown Lewisburg has a lot to offer with a short drive. The owner was very easy to communicate with.

Cute Place

We stayed three nights to check out the area. House is older but well maintained and clean. Having lived in older homes it was not an issue but don't expect the Marriott. Queen bed was comfy. Plenty of coffee on hand. Especially enjoyed the front porch with view over field to woods beyond. Great place for coffee in the morning and a glass of wine in the evening.
