If you're looking to escape the hustle and bustle of big city Gone Fishin' at Lightning Bug Springs is the perfect destination; 15 acres of beautiful property nestled along the banks of the Dry Frio. Don't let the name "Dry" fool you, though. There is a quaint swimming hole just steps away. In the evening watch the sun set while the deer graze in the field.

We want our guest to enjoy their stay worry-free so we provide bed linens and towels which is a rarity in Concan.

About the host
Hosted by Dena Krailo

Hi, we are Mike & Dena Krailo
Lightning Bug Springs holds a very special place in our hearts as we watched our children grow up here, splashing in the river, dancing the night away under the pavilion or playing games with all of their friends in the bunkhouse. Our children are grown but the memories last forever.
When we were given the opportunity to manage Lightning Bug we were beyond excited. We want to watch other families make memories here too.
We hope you love Lightning Bug Springs as much as we do and will continue to come back year after year.
