Beautiful stay, but be sure to read the description

This is undoubtedly a beautiful and unique cabin. It is immersed in a forest and isolated from all other surroundings, a true oasis in nature, perfect to decompress and slow down. However, the location of the property as shown on Vrbo is incorrect, it is a further 3-4km from the pin, into the forest, accessible for the last 1.5km only via a rugged forest track, entirely isolated and off grid, which is inaccessible to a normal car. The property owner can rent his SUV at a cost to provide access, this is all detailed in the property description, so good to read it all carefully. As a family of 4 (teenage children) we had a fantastic stay, but we were perhaps a little unprepared for the logistics of the location and the distance/time from Stresa or other shops for simple supplies.

Dieses Ferienhaus ist in der Realität noch viel schöner als auf den Fotos. das Grundstück ist atemberaubend und weitläufig, der Blick phänomenal. Die Ausstattung ist zweckmäßig. Einziger Kritikpunkt: wir waren vier Erwachsene und zwei Kinder - dafür ist das Haus zu klein. Zu sechst kann man hier jedoch gut unterkommen, wenn man mit zwei Erwachsenen und vier Kindern anreist. Wir hatten dennoch traumhafte Tage und ich würde jederzeit sehr gerne wiederkommen…

Tra Natura e Relax

Posizione ideale per staccare la spina. Non fatevi spaventare dagli 1,5km di sterrato, fattibilissimi (noi li abbiamo fatti con una Hyundai Kona) e ne vale la pena.Ideale per tutti, cani, bambini, coppie, famiglia...basta avere tanta voglia di stare in mezzo alla natura. Anche se abbiamo avuto molti giorni di pioggia siamo riusciti comunque a goderci le giornate (tra sauna e atmosfera).Andrea è un host simpatico e disponibile per tutto. Consigliatissimo!!

Erholung pur!

Wunderschönes Haus, völlig abgeschiedenen. Zum Glück stellt der Gastgeber @Andrea Milani sein Geländewagen zur Verfügung, mit Standardauto ist die Zufahrt nicht möglich, da es auch über einen Bach geht. Fantastischer Ausblick auf den Lago Maggiore und Entspannung pur auch in der Sauna. Gerne wieder!

Wenn man die Casetta del Rio bucht, muss einem klar sein, dass man abseits, quasi im Wald logiert. Genau diese phantastische Gesamtlage ergibt eine seltene Qualität der Location - - - und verpflichtet gleich- zeitig zur Gestaltung der kurzen Urlaubszeit - - - und das ist gut so. Herrn Milani sei gedankt, dass er mit Herzblut dieses Areal gestaltet hat und zur Verfügung stellt. Wenn wir dürfen, werden wir wieder kommen!

Grandioso!!

Es war wunderbar. Wer es mag, allein am Berg mitten in der Natur zu sein - und einen zugegebermaßen kleinen abenteuerlichen Weg zum Haus zurück zu legen - wird begeistert sein. Ich fahre einen Dacia Duster, wer ein niedrigeres Auto hat, dem würde ich empfehlen, auf das Angebot von Andrea (Vermieter) zurück zu greifen. Hammer Ausblick, traumhaft zum Wandern, ich hatte mein SUP dabei (toll auf dem Teich)... Eine Herausforderung ist die Stromversorgung, dank Generator aber überhaupt kein Problem. Super Einweisung vom Vermieter. Ich kann es nur empfehlen!!! Vormieter haben die Lautstärke der Pilzsammler moniert. Ich habe nichts davon mitbekommen und wenn, waren alle Sammler/Wanderer super nett. Tolles Grundstück, super Terrassen, schönes und gepflegtes, sauberes Haus. Immer wieder!!

Schön gelegen

Die Anreise zu dem Haus ist eher beschwerlich. Ich würde davon abraten das eigene Auto zu nehmen und stattdessen lieber das Angebot des Vermieters annehmen und seinen Geländewagen mieten. Der Preis ist mehr als fair und so stellt der Weg auch kein Problem mehr dar. Das Haus sieht genauso aus wie auf den Bildern und ist passabel ausgestattet. Unbedingt Spiele mitnehmen! Es sind fast ausschließlich Kinder Spiele vorhanden. Den nahe gelegenen Wasserfall empfanden wir als nicht unbedingt sehenswert, zudem war der Weg zum Zeitpunkt unserer Begehung total zugewachsen. Für Familien mit Kindern ideal oder auch für Pärchen. Mit dem Strom hatten wir im Juli keine Probleme und falls es welche gegeben hätte, hätten wir den Generator anschmeißen können.

Abgelegen im Wald

Wer Ruhe und Abgeschiedenheit sucht und Naturgeräusche liebt, ist hier genau richtig. Das Häuschen ist zweckmäßig, in der Küche etwas sparsam ausgestattet. Durch die Nordlage und unsere späte Reisezeit bedingt gab es etwas Probleme mit der Stromversorgung. Der Besitzer hat sich aber sofort und umfassend um alles gekümmert und war sehr bemüht um uns. Zur Pilzzeit würden wir das Haus nicht noch einmal buchen: wir wurden jeden Morgen zwischen 5 und 7 Uhr durch die Autos der Pilzsammler geweckt, die den Wanderweg zur Anfahrt in den Wald nutzen. Einziger Kritikpunkt: die Klobrille sollte mal ausgetauscht werden, die ist wirklich unappetitlich...
