"Little Neck" Cottage just 3 minutes to Dowses Beach and downtown Osterville

In historic Osterville village and less than 2 miles to Dowses Beach and the center of town, this is the ideal Cape Cod central Air Conditioned vacation cottage.

Beautifully appointed and located in a safe and quiet neighborhood, a picket fence and English style garden greet you upon arrival. A spacious breezeway is the perfect spot to drop your gear and toys before stepping into the clean and bright living space. The fireplace living room floods with natural light and has a large 55” smart HD TV and high speed internet.

A round dining table comfortably seats 4 people and happily accommodates a full New England Clam Bake.

The small and efficient kitchen is well equipped with coffee maker, microwave, toaster, and plenty of culinary tools and utensils to whip up what you crave.

A front load washer/dryer is available in the basement.

The bathroom is a full bath with a shower.

Each bedroom has new linens, a dresser and standard sized closets for plenty of storage to accommodate your personal needs.

The master bed has a new queen size bed and new wool area rug. The second bedroom is cozy with twin beds, new wool rug and sheepskin throw. The side table and closet are packet with all the classic board games like Monopoly, Sorry, Chess, Checkers, Jenga and more for quiet evenings or a day off the beach.

In the back, a deck off the house with Adirondack chairs is ideal for afternoon cocktails. Below that is a small patio with table and gas grill. There is also a fire pit and newly installed fence for added privacy.

The rental also comes with a Barnstable Beach Pass with FREE access to all Barnstable beaches. We also have beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, beach towels and toys for a fun day on the shore.

Once you are settled into Little Neck, take a stroll down main street and enjoy all the village has to offer- from the fabulous shopping and restaurants to the local library with daily events for the whole family. There is even a neighborhood liquor store and market, so you never have to leave the village for provisions. If you do... we are only about 15 minutes from Hyannis where the ferries to Nantucket and Martha's Vineyard are - perfect for a fun day trip adventure!

Great House and Great Location

The house was very quaint and perfect for our family of four+ our 12lb Chiweenie. Everything was elegant, organized and clean. The house was centrally located to every area of Cape Cod. Our favorite for shopping was Hyannis. The beaches were beautiful and very close by and having the passes were a plus. This was our first time in Cape Cod and we will be visiting again. The owners were reachable if needed and I would definitely stay here again and hope to in the future. I highly recommend.

Perfect Cape Vacation

The home was comfortable and nicely decorated, with special added touches that made it homey away from home. Even the fire pit was prepared for a fire! The beach pass was a gift, we used it every day to enjoy the beaches and to be able to park for kayaking and taking long walks. We cooked most meals and the kitchen had all we needed. We loved reading the historical postcard book of Osterville and then discovering the same places on our walks, seeing the village through the lens of history. We hope to be back. Thank you for your hospitality!

Perfect vacation spot!

Had the best time at Little Neck for vacation. House was clean, had everything we needed and check in / check out process couldn’t have been easier! Already excited to come back next summer.

Lovely Osterville summer vacation

We spent a lovely 2 weeks at Little Neck. The house was perfect for our family of four. It was clean with lots of light, nicely decorated and everything you need from cookware to beach gear. It’s centrally located to the town and various beaches. Correspondence with the owners was easy and prompt. We hope to be back soon!

It was perfect!

We LOVED our time at Little Neck!! It was absolutely perfect for our family vacation. We stayed for two weeks – mom, dad, and 11 yr. old twins – the duration was a first, so I was a little nervous … but we found everything quaint and charming. It was just enough of what we needed to enjoy the extended stay. The interior was fresh and newly updated, with many thoughtful touches including beach gear, notes on local activities, books, games, and puzzles that the whole family enjoyed. We had a blast using the outdoor table and barbeque space and … the washer and dryer were also a major plus! Little Neck is very centrally located. Main street restaurants and shopping are just around the corner with easy access to beaches (walking distance and/or beach pass!) which were so fun. We were able to do all the desired sightseeing and excursions to nearby towns up and down the cape. We even made several trips into Boston with no problem. An additional bonus was that our hosts were extremely responsive and helpful, making the whole experience great. We would definitely stay here again, and I would highly recommend this cottage to anyone looking to enjoy a relaxing, quintessential Cape Cod getaway.

Osterville Gem

The property was a terrific find. The pictures don’t do it justice. Charming cottagy feel. Bed was terrific. Brand new grill. Short drive to the beach and town. Kitchen was super functional. Quiet neighborhood. Lovely garden. Owner was very responsive We will definitely stay there again.
