From the moment you enter the chalet, you'll be captivated by the immense open space bathed in natural light, with its floor-to-ceiling windows giving way to the landscape before you. In addition to the rooftops and steeples of Mansonville, you'll be able to see all the way to the Jay Peak ski slopes on a clear day, and enjoy magnificent sunsets on the spacious patio.



This elegant, spacious, fully-equipped and comfortable accommodation is perfect for memorable family and friendly gatherings.



The Space:

The living areas are located on the ground floor and include a very large island for family cooking, a billiard and ping pong room for your entertainment, and an open-plan living room with fireplace for a cosy atmosphere. The two large televisions offer Netflix subscriptions, plus a DVD player with several films available. Finally, there are several board games on site to entertain adults and children alike!



The property has 4 good-sized bedrooms, 3 with queen-size beds, and 1 with double bunk beds and an extra single bed. There's also a sofa bed in the family room. Two full bathrooms and laundry room (washer/dryer, iron and ironing board) on the same floor.



Travelling with children? Travel with peace of mind. You'll find all the accessories you need at the chalet, so you don't have to drag them along with you: booster seat, crockery and stair gates, and a baby playpen.



You'll also have access to a very large entrance wardrobe for your personal belongings, skis and snowboards. There's also a huge walk-in closet adjoining the kitchen for your shopping!

Weekend group getaway

The rental has ample space, kitchen is well stocked, beds are comfortable, spa and fire pit area are among the trees. Light and view from the main living area are amazing.

Magnifique chalet

Vraiment très bel emplacement. Le seul petit bémol sont la raideur de l’escalier. Difficile pour des personnes âgées. Aussi comme il n’y a aucun stores et que la fenestration est immense (super belle vue) il fait très chaud à l’arrivée lorsque la climatisation n’est pas allumée d’avance. Mais outre ces petits bémols, tout est fonctionnel, l’équipement est d’excellente qualité ainsi que le mobilier. Le personnel de location répond aussi très rapidement aux attentes

Décevant sur plusieurs aspects…

La description de la propriété manque tellement d’informations clés qui, avoir su, aurions réservé ailleurs. Par exemple (car il y en a plus), l’eau sent les œufs et est désagréable à boire et l’odeur forte est notable en faisant la vaisselle et durant la douche. Presque tous les commerces du village sont fermés la semaine et n’ouvrent que pour le week-end à partir du jeudi. L’hôte n’a pas communiqué les détails importants avant notre arrivée et avons dû appeler d’urgence pour obtenir le code de la porte. Elle n’a pas informé du dégât d’eau récent et que des travaux sont en cours mais suspendus pour notre séjour. L’hôte a négligé de visiter la propriété et s’assurer que tout était conforme avant notre arrivée. Ainsi nous avons découvert que la télévision du salon ne fonctionnait pas, le mobilier extérieur autour du foyer était endommagé et en majeure partie inutilisable. Les grilles du BBq étaient très rouillées et les brosses de nettoyage si usée qu’inutilisables. Le détecteur de fumée à la cuisine, des luminaires et moulures de plancher avaient été retirés et des trous dans le murs. Bref, nous recommandons d’éviter les propriétés de l’hôte makabane.com qui a plus à cœur son profit que la satisfaction du client. Dirigé à Vrbo pour résolution on a dû insister pour un reglement avec l’hôte qui a finalement mené après plus de 2 semaines à un dédommagement offrant principalement un rabais sur un prochain séjour plutôt qu’un remboursement.

Agréable séjour en famille et amis

Nous sommes très satisfaits de notre séjour. Nous sommes des amis avec de jeunes enfants. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans une propriété spacieuse et très propre. Une architecture moderne avec des plafonds sont très hauts. La lumières envahit l'intérieur à travers plusieurs vitres offrant une belle vue sur les environs. La communication avec la propriétaire a été très fluide et rapide. Elle nous a mis très à l'aise avant, pendant et même après notre séjour. Je recommande vivement cet endroit pour des rencontres familiales, entre amis et avec de jeunes enfants.

Très beau chalet!!

Superbe week-end! Très beau chalet! Deux petits points négatifs par contre, il a manqué de propane pour le BBQ lors de notre première soirée et le terrain n’était pas entretenu pour qu’on puisse faire un petit feu dehors! Sinon tout le reste était parfait !!
