Welcome to Key Lime Cottage, a completely updated 2 bedroom, 2 bathroom vacation home with plenty of room for up to 6 guests. Just a short stroll away from the powdery white sands and award-winning sunsets of Anna Maria Island!

Slip into vacation mode as you explore Anna Maria Island from this perfectly adorable Key West style cottage. Featuring a beautiful and relaxing heated pool, and a location that puts you right in the middle of the island, up to six guests and a small canine companion can come and enjoy!

Located a few blocks from the beach access in Holmes Beach, and a short stroll to many popular dining spots like the Ugly Grouper and The Feast, this home will make it easy to immerse yourself in the island life. There is also shopping and nightlife just a stroll away.

This entire home is freshly painted in island hues and the bright open kitchen offers everything you need to prepare a special at-home meal. Grill out back in your tropical and secluded backyard on the propane grill while the kids splash in the pool. This ground level home also offers easy access to the pool and a view through the sliding glass doors.

When you retreat for the evening there is the master bedroom with ensuite full bathroom as well as a twin guest bedroom. The hall bath features a shower and tub combination. Up to 2 additional guests can be accommodated on the living room sleeper sofa. If you need space for a larger group of friends or family we are happy to offer Key Lime Cottage in combination with Kiwi Cabana, which is the other side of this duplex. When rented together the entire property sleeps 12. As with all of our homes, this beautiful retreat provides professionally laundered linens and towels. Never worry about bath towels, sheets and beach towels during your stay.

PET POLICY:

We are DOG FRIENDLY! At this home a fee of $150 + tax is required in advance for each dog you are bringing.

2 pets maximum unless granted an exception. Weight limit of 25 lbs maximum per pet.

Due to property insurance policies and liability concerns NO dangerous breeds or aggressive animals are allowed. The following breeds (purebred or crossbred) are not permitted:

Pit Bull, Akita, Rottweiler, German Shepherd, Siberian Husky, Malamute, Doberman Pinscher, Chows, Any Wolf-dog hybrid, Any other dog that has been known to have bitten anyone

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION

We generally require a minimum stay of 7 nights with Saturday check-in during the high season. We are more flexible in the off season so please send us a message if your dates appear unavailable. We may be able to accommodate you!

Housekeeping will provide a starter supply of toilet paper, soap, and garbage bags but guests will likely need to replenish the supply during their stay.

Our cleaning fee includes a professional linen service. When you stay with us you can rest assured that you will have high quality linens such as those at a fine hotel. We also provide plenty of luxury bath and beach towels.

Anna Maria Island is a family community and the city imposes a strict noise ordinance. Please adhere to our good neighbor policy and observe the local quiet hours between 10 pm and 8 am. No loud music or use of the pool is allowed during these hours along with any other noise which may disturb the neighbors.

Amazing cottage

Everything was exactly as advertised. As a frequent renter on AMI, this is the best we have rented. Everything worked. The cottage is tastefully decorated and the amenities are second to none for my family. Private pool was amazing. Thank you for the stay!

We stayed at Key Lime Cottage with our 3 year old and it was perfect! Clean, great amenities, and close to shopping/dining! Short walk to the beach made easier with a provided wagon and an amazing pool. We had so much fun! Thank you!

Super cute home!! Close to the beach, I recommend definitely having car or golf cart. We made the mistake and didn’t get either. But if you love to walk everything is very close. Can’t wait to come back!

I can't say anything more insightful than everyone else has; Key Lime Cottage has pretty much everything.. The extras (bikes, fishing poles, etc) are there, but the special thing about KLC is the feel of the cottage. It just feels good and fit us just right. Thanks, Rob

A Little Piece of Paradise

Everything about this property is wonderful! EXCEPT The vertical blinds in the bedroom and living area were terrible. Not only they were inoperable, several times the splines would detach and scare the hell out of us. They should have been replaced a long time ago.

The house and pool were lovely and we enjoyed the pool for the short time we were there. We were evacuated due to hurricane Ian. I was concerned about requesting a partial refund but never had to. The owners promptly issued the refund without having to ask. They communicated with us promptly regarding the evacuation and made the process for us much less stressful. I hope their beautiful property is OK and highly recommend if you want to visit the area.

Adorable!

This is the cutest place in a tropical setting. Everything was as stated in the description and Anna Maria is such a nice change of pace. My only dissapointment was the mattress in the Master. We thought it would be more on the line of a Temperpedic but it wasn’t. It’s probably just time for a replacement. Unfortunately, we had to cut our vacay short but we definitely will return some day. I would stay here again if the owner updates the mattress.

Beautiful

Our stay was beautiful. The home had everything we needed. We received our second parking ticket this year. In front of the unit is a gravel parallel space exactly like the driveway. Management might want to include something regarding this as each ticket is $75. We rented a golf cart and it was parked in this spot on Saturday before we arrived. We were ticketed on Monday. The ironing board needs a cover no pad and the cover it would not stay in place. For some this is not essential but my mother emailed to ensure the home included both. We would definitely stay here again.

Wonderful Getaway!

Key Lime Cottage is warm cozy. It has wonderful beach decor and the tropical outdoor pool area is outstanding. Being located a few blocks from the beach and restaurants is another plus. I would highly recommend this property.

Stunning Property

We had a wonderful trip with nothing negative to share. The property was exactly what was posted. The beach is within walking distance and there is a trolley that will take you up and down the island. The pool was definitely a treat!

Awesome location...beautiful pool...cozy home

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay here. The tropical pool area was the best part of the property!! You cannot beat this private pool & beautiful landscaping as a place to cool off. We loved every minute! The house is clean & comfortable. I will mention that for us it would have been really tight to have 4 adults here. The kitchen/dining area was snug & would have been challenging if there were 4 of us. I cannot imagine having 6 adults here!! If you have small kids & are a family of 4 or 6, I could see this property working for you. For 2 adults though...it is absolutely perfect. The bedrooms are a nice size as are the bathrooms. All in all it was a great stay for us & we would return again. Note that you will need to bring all basic supplies with you or buy when you arrive. Here is what they provide: one trash bag, one package of dishwasher soap, one package of laundry detergent, one roll of paper towels & a roll of TP for each bathroom. There was also a tiny container of dish soap & a bottle of hand soap in each bathroom as well as a small bar of soap. Not a big deal but if I had known there was so few basics (like trash bags & dishwasher soap), I would've just brought a few from home rather than buying an entire package at the store. Maybe it was in the fine print somewhere & I missed it? Just hoping this helps someone else in a future stay :-)

The perfect island oasis!

The Keylime Cottage surpassed every expectation we had for our vacation, and we truly couldn't have asked for a better experience. The entrance to the home is lushly landscaped, with a short walkway that in the evening is subtly lit and gives the feeling of a secret garden. The interior of the cottage is tasteful, well appointed with comfortable furniture and fresh decor. Everything was spotless and ready for us to unpack and enjoy our stay. Out the side door is one of the prettiest pools we've ever had the chance to use...ample outdoor furniture, an outdoor shower and an extention of the gorgeous landscaping to provide shade and privacy. There is an outdoor shed with anything a family could need for enjoying a day on the beach. Key Lime Cottage was a short golf cart ride to the beach, fishing, dinner or shopping. We loved every second of our stay and hope to get an opportunity to come back again!

Great house and location, plan to visit again!

The house was perfect! It is well maintained and very clean. The kitchen has everything you need. The beds were comfortable. Bathrooms are very nice and the master shower is large. The pool is beautiful with lovely tropical plants and is very private. The location is perfect to walk to the beach at sunset. The sunsets are amazing! Rob was very responsive to my inquiries. The management company was also very responsive (had a minor issue with getting tv/cable to working). We had a great time and definitely want to go back next year!

Wonderful and comfortable duplex on AMI!

The Key Lime Cottage was a perfect summer getaway for our little family of four. To be honest, we spent most of our time poolside, but did get to the beach several times. There are 2 beach access points a short walk or bike ride away. The cottage was stocked with everything you could need to have a relaxing vacation. We got a lot of takeout, but it was nice to have a full kitchen to cook when we wanted. And we got to bring the dog, which was a wonderful plus. We will absolutely be returning to this gem of a property!
