Nous avons passé une excellente semaine à Wissant. Outre la météo, la maison, sa situation et son agencement ont participé à ce que cette semaine soit magnifique. L'habitation est spacieuse, surtout les pièces de vie, proche de la mer et du centre ville, à environ 400-500 mètres (attention, ça monte tout de même pour rentrer :). Elle est adaptée pour une ou plusieurs familles avec enfants ainsi que pour des personnes ayant du mal à se déplacer et se situe dans un environnement calme ! Il y a également une belle terrasse bien orientée et ensoleillée toute la journée. Nous avons pu prendre quasi tous les repas dehors. Le parking privé peut accueillir aisément 3 voitures. Si vous recherchez ce type de maison, elle est faite pour vos vacances !!L'hôte est disponible pour répondre rapidement à toutes les questions ! A noter tout de même : il n'y a pas de micro-onde et, si vous n'êtes pas des adeptes de faire des courses tous les jours, le réfrigérateur est un peu petit.

We have been coming to Wissant several times a year for 14yrs and are always on the lookout for new large properties so we were thrilled to spot this new renovation. The property is very tastefully decorated and is also well designed and carefully thought out - a communal open plan living space, lots of functional storage, three showers and three toilets make this a comfortable stay for a larger group. The kitchen is generally well equipped (a microwave and some bar stools at the island would be a welcome addition, plus given the occupancy of the house an additional fridge in the garage would be useful). As well as a large indoor dining table there is a large outdoor dining table with a cantilever umbrella on the deck and we enjoyed several meals outside. Large sliding doors allow for a seamless flow inside to outside, and there are shutters on the windows. A separate snug / playroom would be great if travelling with younger children or for some quiet time away from the group. The property is a very short walk to both the beach and town centre, with generous parking at the front of the house and easy unloading of the car directly into the integral garage. Bathrooms and bedrooms are both tasteful and functional with comfortable beds (addition of bedside tables would be useful). Entry/exit is via a key lockbox so convenient and flexible. A really superb property which we would highly recommend and hope to return to ourselves.
