The Palms of Destin 1309 is a two-bedroom, two-bathroom condo vacation rental located in central Destin, Florida. The Palms of Destin Resort & Conference Center is filled with amenities for those seeking an active beach vacation. The beach is only minutes away with our complimentary beach shuttle. The resort has multiple pools with waterfall features, a hot tub, playground, fitness center, and tennis and basketball courts. The Palms of Destin is centrally located with easy access to attractions, area restaurants, shopping, and water sports.

Great property

Everything was wonderful. My only wish was that the beach area near the hotel was larger. It was roped off and you had to take the shuttle there unless you wanted to cross a busy highway in the heat. They do shuttle to the bigger beach and I wish I would have taken that shuttle. The room and pool were stunning!

The condo had a VERY strong smell of cigarette smoke, in fact it smelled like it has been smoked in for years! After visiting the front desk multiple times, they did provide an air purifier but the smell was still there. They had no other condo to move us to. The lights kept flickering every time we turned the oven and the washer/dryer. We brought these to the attention of compass resorts but their follow thru with getting back to us in a timely manner is much to be desired. The linens and the mattress in the master is very uncomfortable and needs replaced. The couch had stains and was ripped. The dryer did not dry clothes and I would have to put it on 3 times for a small load to dry. The baseboards were dirty and missing in some areas. We have stayed at this resort before with private owners and it was wonderful, however I can not say the same about this one. After spending what seemed like 1/2 of our vacation trying to fix their problems, they only offered us a tiny refund. I would have expected more for how bad it was! I would not recommend this unit or renting from compass resorts!
