Unfortunately, we felt the listing was misleading. when we arrived at the apartment we felt that the title on VRBO was deceiving as it was notnear center of Brussels. The furnishings were very inexpensive compared with other VRBOs. On this European trip we stayed at 3 other VRBOs that were all wonderful. We had a significant concern involving one of the bathrooms and communication with the host was slow considering the issue.

We would like to clarify a few points, as this review unfortunately does not accurately reflect the property or what actually happened during the stay. Our listing is an accurate representation of the apartment: its location, furnishings, and overall condition are clearly shown in the photos and described in the listing. The furniture is exactly as pictured, so we strongly disagree with the claim that the listing was misleading. Regarding the bathroom issue, the guests reported an unpleasant odor in one of the toilets. We took their concern seriously and arranged for a technician to attend the property within an hour of being notified. Despite our immediate response, the guests had already decided that they no longer wished to stay and requested a full refund. As a full refund was not possible under the applicable reservation and cancellation policies, their request could not be granted. This negative review was subsequently posted following that refusal. For this reason, we believe this review does not provide a fair or objective account of the stay and appears to have been left in retaliation for not receiving the full refund requested. We regret the situation, but strongly dispute the claims that our listing was misleading or that we were unresponsive, as the facts demonstrate otherwise.
