St. Eustace Family Lodge: Cabin adjoining National Forest
Welcome to our family-friendly getaway directly adjoining National Forest near Mount Magazine State Park and Spring Lake Recreation Area. Truly peaceful; 40+ acres of private, forested pasture, and endless miles of hiking directly from your back porch. Drive 10 min for a dip in the waters of Spring Lake! Children are welcome to build forts, explore, and create lasting memories in these beautiful acres. Relax at night in front of a cozy fire, snuggle up with a book, or grab a game to share! Pets are welcome, too, with a $25 fee per pet. By bringing pets, guests agree to keep pets off all furniture, pick up after pet waste, and use a kennel if pets will be left unattended. (We love sharing adventures with our pets, too, but please be considerate of future guests by abiding by these rules. Pet damage or excessive cleaning may incur an additional charge.) Nestled against the Ozark-St.Francis National Forest and Mount Magazine State Park, Eustace Family Lodge is a delightful retreat from the chaos and busy into the wild and wonderful of Arkansas. Constructed using cedar beams from the surrounding acreage, the former owner poured his heart into creating this beautiful log cabin that our family has been proud to restore. Catch an armadillo, chase the squirrels, hike into the quiet forests beyond, and explore the beauty of the surrounding countryside. A quiet respite, there are few farm neighbors and many miles to roam. Bikers are sure to find wonderful routes, especially up into the Spring Lake area. Please feel free to inquire if your family size exceeds that of the listed guest accommodation.

We enjoyed our stay and were able to visit Mt. Magazine, Mt. Nebo and the Altus wine trail. The sunsets were beautiful and we loved seeing the stars at night. Lots of space to spread out in this cabin!
A much needed get away to relax and re energize . Cabin was clean and we really had a great time. I relaxed in the cabin and my husband enjoyed Spring Lake.

Queen Bed in 2nd bedroom.
Would be nice if there was an additional full or queen sized bed in addition to the master bedroom.

Thanks for the recommendation, Sandra! We'll certainly keep that in mind if we ever build an addition to our bunkhouse, but there is actually a full-sized futon couch in the sunroom, should anyone desire to use it. In the meantime, know that bedroom arrangements and bed configurations are all available for preview prior to booking for all listings, so that might be useful to you in the future to avoid a rental that doesn't quite meet your expectations. Have a wonderful week!
The property was big, plenty of room for our vehicles and Side by Sides. Enjoyed sitting out back by the grill, with a good breeze, swings need to be updated, fire pit look nice due to burn band we were unable to use it. Kitchen was big, comfortable, had all the pots and pans needed as we cooked all out evening meals and breakfast. Large washer and dryer so I’m able to return home with all my clothes clean. Large shed to park vehicles out of weather.
Really enjoyed my stay at this charming cabin. Property was clean and spacious. The kitchen is well stocked and had everything I needed to prepare a small thanksgiving meal. Owners are fantastic and provided thoughtful suggestions on food and fun in the area. I would gladly stay again if I am ever in this neck of the woods.
This is a great, secluded getaway back in the woods but with very nice modern amenities and appliances that you are comfortable with in your own home.
I highly recommend it for its peacefulness and easy access to nearby attractions such as Mount Magazine.
The house was really cool. Neatly decorated and practical. Comes with everything u may need to cook with during ur stay. We really enjoyed it and will re visit in the future.
Great old hunting lodge style cabin. Very tidy and functional
I took our son and 3 of his friends. They had a blast exploring the area and routinely used the yard to play catch, etc. I was able to bring along a bike and hit the area gravel roads several times. Great place to stay, each entry and exit.
The property was just as described but much better when inside the cabin. There was ample room for all in our group plus some!! The owner was extremely helpful in every aspect. The cabin was well stocked with everything that a visitor would need plus some extras for comfort. We will definitely go back!
