About this property

Directly on the water and close to the IJsselmeer is this luxury house. The balcony at the front offers a panoramic view. Also the back of the house offers panoramic views of the jetty and the swimming ladder from the terrace. In the house there are 2 bathrooms, 1 with massage tub for 2 persons. This bathroom is accessible from the bedroom. From the living room on the second floor you have a beautiful view of the harbor, the lake IJsselmeer and the surrounding area. Here you can do excellent sailing, surfing and swimming. Visit the Frisian villages of Hindelopen, Workum and Stavoren and the Wadden islands. The beach is ideal for small children because of the shallow water. After a great day enjoy a snack and a drink at the beach pavilion. You also have the opportunity to learn kitesurfing here, you can take lessons. The historic town of Workum is 2 km away. In addition, the characteristic Frisian Elf towns of Hindeloopen, Joure, Sneek, etc. are also worth a visit.

Schönes Haus, schöne Lage, sehr nette Betreuung. Das eingezäunte Grundstück war für unseren Hund ideal. Gerne wieder.

Wonderful location

This was a good rental holiday property but it omitted to show or mention the staircase which was winding and very narrow towards the edge. The master bedroom is large but in the ensuite there is no top hook for the shower attachment making having a shower most difficult. The second bedroom whilst a double is very tight for space. It would have helped if there was more information on what was available in the house which would have saved us taking items unnecessarily. The cleaning costs are very high and although clean the standard was not high enough to match the amount charged. Having said that it was a good break and we would definitely return to the area.
