About this property

Holiday home at the beach (free wifi)

Living on the water and at the beach. Many people dream of it. We rent our holiday home in Makkum located less than 75 meters from the beach and water (IJsselmeer). Makkum beach is very popular in the region.
My holiday home is on the De Holle Poarte recreation park, but is very sheltered with lots of privacy in a dune-like environment. You do not feel that you are in a holiday park and you can still use all the facilities. You can walk straight to the beach via the sandy path. WiFi is available in the home.

The house is very complete and modern in Scandinavian style (lots of white with wood) and has 6 sleeping places. The house is less than 75 meters from the beach. The house was completely renovated on the inside in 2016. The house is nicely furnished in Scandinavian style (white with wood) with retro look furniture. A whole new kitchen with dishwasher and oven has been installed. There is a filter coffee machine. There is also a completely new bathroom with a walk-in shower and washing machine. Central heating throughout the house. There is satellite TV and WiFi available.
There are two bedrooms (downstairs) and a loft (upstairs). (3x two people). In total there are 6 sleeping places.
On the spacious terrace is a complete modern lounge corner sofa and a dining table with chairs. On the terrace is sun all day (south). There is a parasol. A barbecue is also included. The outdoor shower is ideal when you return from the beach (hot and cold water).
In the shed are several beach chairs, sun beds that you can take to the beach. For the children there are various beach items available in the shed (a. Rubber boat, skimboard, scoops, buckets, etc). There are two bicycles available (1 women's bicycle and 1 men's bicycle).
The house is very sheltered with lots of privacy in a dune-like environment with a large south-facing terrace.

PLEASE NOTE: during the summer period (July and August) you can only check in and out on Friday. Only full weeks are then rented out (7, 14, 21 nights).

TOURIST TAXES: The tourist taxes are € 2,- per person / per night (2025). You will recieve an extra payment request for the tourist taxes in about 1 week before arrival and can pay it then.

Great little house in Makkum

We had a great stay and would recommend staying here. We were 5 adults and it was plenty of space. It is very close to the beach and you have good options for eating, groceries, bicycle rental within walking distance.

wonderful holidays

We really enjoyed our holiday in this holiday home and its peaceful natural surroundings and had a very good rest. Windsurfing equipment can be carried from this house to the beach. It is truly an island between the campsite and the man-made holiday home development to the south. We can definitely recommend this holiday home.

Mit viel Liebe zum Detail wunderschön eingerichtetes Ferienhaus. Schnelle und ausführliche Informationen von Vermieterin. Die Anreise bei Tageslicht und ohne Rollkoffer wird empfohlen. Auf der Terrasse ist man für sich. Drumherum sind ausschließlich Feriendomizile, d.h. zu sehen gibt es nicht viel. Wir haben daher die Zeit im Haus sehr genossen.

Geselliges Frauenwochenende

Süßes Häuschen fast direkt am Strand. Schöner windgeschützter Platz auf der Terrasse. Die Treppe zur Schlafmöglichkeit unter dem Dach ist ein wenig steil. Dusche top mit ausreichend heissem Wasser. Küche mit allem Nötigen ausgestattet. Alles sehr hellhörig, bei uns hat aber niemand geschnarchtKommen gerne wieder!!

Schönes Haus, ruhige Lage

Wir waren 4 Tage dort haben die Zeit genossen. Narürlich halten sich die Aktivitätsmöglichkeiten zu der Jahreszeit in Grenzen, jedoch sind größere Städte innerhalb von Minuten zu erreichen. Auch Amsterdam ist nur eine Stunde mit dem Auto entfernt. Die Lage in Wassernähe ist wirklich toll und die Vermieterin freundlich und kommunikativ. Gerne wieder...

Auszeit mit Freunden

Wir (6 Frauen) hatten ein tolles Herbst-Wochenende in dem schönen Ferienhaus in Makkum. Das Wetter war bescheiden, daher konnten wir die schöne, gemütliche und super ausgestattete Unterkunft in vollen Zügen genießen! Der Kontakt zu Connie war einfach und freundlich und wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt. Supermarkt und Imbissbude sind in 5 Gehminuten zu erreichen, dort gibt es alles was das (Holland-)Herz begehrt! Wir kommen gerne wieder! Danke :-)

Schöner Aufenthalt

Wir waren für ein verlängertes Wochenende in dem Haus und hatten dort eine tolle Zeit. Auf der Terrasse konnte man super und in Ruhe mit fast dem ganzen Tag Sonne die Seele baumeln lassen. Der Kontakt zur Vermieterin war super freundlich und ging immer schnell. Wir würden das Haus definitiv wieder buchen!

Pure Erholung in einer schönen Strandperle

Das Ferienhaus eignet sich perfekt für Familien. Es liegt ideal auf einem Resort mit kurzem Fußweg zum Ijsselmeer (ca. 2 bis 3 Minuten). Die Leistungen des Resorts, z.B. Fahrrad- und Bootsverleih, Spielplatz, Streichelzoo, können in Anspruch genommen, unsere drei Kinder hatten viel Spaß. Gleichwohl fanden wir dank der Superlage auch jede Menge Zeit zur Ruhe und Erholung. Wir waren völlig ungestört. Das Ferienhaus selber ist sehr liebevoll mit perfektem Sinn für die richtigen Details eingerichtet. Spielzeug für Kinder, besonders für den Strand, ist ausreichend vorhanden. Die Unterkunft ist sehr gepflegt. Der Kontakt zur Vermieterin Connie war stets hervorragend, dafür herzlichen Dank. Gerne vergeben wir daher 5 Sterne und empfehlen diese schöne Strandperle auch gerne weiter.

Lage Top Unterkunft Top Ausstattung Top Alles in allem sehr zufrieden und absolut zu empfehlen 👍 Aber etwas negatives muss man ja auch schreiben sonst ist es Unglaubwürdig. Mücken, Mücken und manchmal Mücken. Aber dafür kann ja das Haus nichts 👍

Tolle Lage und nette Vermieterin

Wir haben zwei Nächte mit drei Kindern und drei Erwachsenen im Haus verbracht. Die Lage ist wirklich top, man kann von der Küche aus das Meer sehen. Ein Bollerwagen zum Transport des Gepäcks steht im Schuppen und ist auch notwendig, weil der Parkplatz nicht direkt am Haus liegt (logischerweise, denn das Haus steht in den Dünen). Die Wohnung ist gemütlich eingerichtet und die Betten im "Vogelnest" haben den Kindern super gefallen. Wer mit Kleinkind reist, sollte ein Seil dabei haben, um die Leiter am Balken hochzuziehen und zu befestigen - ansonsten ist die Versuchung zu groß, und die Leiter sowie die Plattform eindeutig zu gefährlich. Wir hatten zum Glück ein Springseil dabei, sonst wäre es ziemlich stressig geworden. Das obere Hochbett ist ebenfalls nichts für Kleinkinder, weil der Abstand der Absperrung viel zu groß ist und ein kleineres Kind problemlos herauskullern kann. Für Familien mit größeren Kindern (oder gefügigeren Kleinkinder als unsere Tochter) ist die Wohnung aber absolut zu empfehlen.
