These days, it’s just the two of us and our dogs now that our son lives up in Boston (sorry but we can’t rent to pets; one dog has an averse reaction). We spend a lot of time at this home, and it’s more than just a rental to us—it’s a place we come to slow down and reconnect. One of my favorite things to do is sit out back with a cup of coffee and watch the waterfowl float by. We’ve tried to create a space that’s comfortable, easy, and ready for real downtime. We love that Beach Haven West offers the best of both worlds—peace and quiet when you want it, local shops and amenities, and easy access to LBI when you’re ready for restaurants, beaches, or more to do. The lagoon is calm and inviting, and the neighbors are families that are friendly but low-key. It’s the kind of place where mornings are slow and evenings are breezy—just how we like it.
