The fully equipped kitchen has newer appliances and a cozy breakfast nook—perfect for morning coffee while you watch the neighborhood come to life. A dedicated study with a printer makes it easy for remote work or longer stays, and both bathrooms feature natural solar lighting for a bright, refreshing feel.

Step outside to the enclosed tropical lanai, set up as a flexible game room and extra lounge space with a futon for guests. You’ll also enjoy a 3-car garage with an air-conditioned laundry area, high-speed Wi-Fi, TVs, and resident/guest passes for full access to community amenities. I would have to say this was one of the most enjoyable stays I have experienced. The house was outstanding and the golf was great. But the best part was the interaction with the owner, Donna. She made us feel as though we lived in the neighborhood and told us what're the best restaurants and things to do. We are definitely going to try and book this house the next time we come to the villages!

Easy checkin, great communication from owner, clean, very spacious and wonderful to have a golf cart and a garage for our vehicle ! The location is about a 5 min walk to the pool/tennis courts and rec centre and restaurant. Quiet neighborhood !

Our host was so nice and accommodating and also very interesting.. accommodations were clean and well taken care of. The house was well supplied with small things that saved us from buying them…..spices ,coffee, zip lock bags,etc. (so many things) Was close to a pool and easy to get around.

Beautiful house in a great location

The house is very comfortable and clean. Excellent location within walking distance to the Tierra del Sol rec center and adult pool and easy golf cart ride to Spanish Springs. There is beutiful art all around the house painted by Donna! Donna was wonderful! She greeted us when we arrrived and showed us around the house. She has a very detailed, helpful write up with information about places to visit and restaurants to try. The neighborhood is in a great location and the neighbors are very friendly. We would definitely stay here again!!

I’m an eighth-generation country girl, originally from New Bedford, Massachusetts, and raised in the small town of East Freetown. My journey began in a two-room schoolhouse and led me, through hard work and determination, to earn a doctoral degree in Marine Ecology, with studies in Biology, Oceanography, and Education.

My career has taken me around the world—from teaching Marine Botany in Kenya to working as a Marine Biologist in Florida, and later educating students and professionals in Oceanography in Virginia. I eventually retired after 25 years in federal service as a Marine Ecologist and Branch Chief, including leading a 2,500-mile scientific expedition across the Northwestern Hawaiian Islands, where our team discovered over 100 new species.

Why they chose this property

Before retiring, I began exploring my creative side through painting wildlife and waterscapes. I later co-founded an art gallery in Virginia. After the loss of my husband, I was drawn to The Villages by friends—and quickly fell in love with the vibrant, welcoming community.

After renting here for several seasons, I purchased my first home in 2018 and soon after found another special property beside the nearby lake. I couldn’t part with my original home, so I decided to transform it into a place where guests can feel just as at home in The Villages as I do.
