About this property

Beach house directly by the sea in Le Racou / Argeles-Plage / Le Racou

The small house is located directly on the sandy beach in the third row, directly on the sea. The large sandy beach is guarded in the summer by lifeguards and borders directly on the first rocks of the cliffs of the Pyrenees.

In the village there is a small general store 50 meters away, bakery, newspapers and some small restaurants.

The Mediterranean area in the southernmost part of France right on the border with Spain, with its sandy beaches and rocky coast, with the Pyrenees in the background and a diverse cultural offer.

At this southern end of the 200 kilometer long sandy beach, which starts in the Camargue and ends in Le Racou, you will find the peace to relax or go on excursions, depending on your taste. Le Racou is located on the seafront in a dead end, in which no large streams of tourists pour.

We live in Munich and do also visit the house ourselves at least twice a year for holidays.

Why they chose this property

Villa on 2 Floors with terrace and balcony on the beach of Le Racou. Completely renovated in 2017, direct access to the sea with patrolled beach in summertime. Lots of small authentic restaurants and bars around. Racou is a small village at the dead end of the beach road aside from the inrush of tourists.
