Our downtown home is only a 2-minute walk from the vibrant commercial district of NuLu. Perfectly situated between Downtown Louisville, the historic Highlands neighborhood, and trendy Butchertown, you're a minimum rideshare fare from anywhere and everywhere you'll want to be.

PET POLICY - Pets are NOT allowed at this home. Any undisclosed animals discovered on the property without prior written approval from the host will result in a $300 penalty and loss of security deposit.
Welcome to NULU! Recently renovated and remodeled, this home is situated near the heart of historical Downtown Louisville. This functional 3BR/1.5BA is perfect for small groups or business travelers looking to explore all the Derby City has to offer.
Medical professionals..THANK YOU FOR ALL THAT YOU DO!! We are located just minutes from all the major downtown medical facilities and we offer month-to-month rental rates for all medical personnel when available. The primary suite with a queen bed and shared full bath are located on the second floor. 2 bedrooms, each with a queen bed, are also on the second level which is only accessible by stairs. There is 1/2 bathroom on the first floor. High quality fixtures, cabinets, flooring, and furniture complete the quaint, comfortable feel of this unit.
There is no private parking. Safe, free, on-street parking is available. The kitchen is an eye-catcher. Updated with everything that you need to make great meals on site, minus the food. Coffee is provided to help jump start your mornings. It's a fantastic place to enjoy breakfast or wind down the evening with friends, family, and a bourbon on ice.
The home is walking distance or quick ride share to restaurants, coffee shops, boutiques, bars, and even independent fresh markets.
Laundry accommodations are provided. Feel free to use them as needed to wash clothes and/or linens.

Access to the house is through the front door. The key code will be sent 24 hours prior to check in.
The neighborhood is safe, growing, and vibrant. Restaurants, grocery, etc. all nearby.
A vehicle is recommended. Uber and Lyft are readily available through their applications.
RENTAL AGREEMENT/REQUEST FOR CONTACT INFORMATION: In accordance with booking platform policy and local regulations, guests are required to provide contact information and sign all Rental Agreements within 24 hours of booking. If guests do not complete or refuse to sign the rental agreement, host reserves the right to cancel the reservation without penalty and the cancellation policy will still apply.
WIFI: All guests will be asked to enter email and phone number in order to access the free WiFi at this location. Contact confirmation is optional. In accordance with booking platform policy, we use apps to facilitate our guest experience and these apps may request contact information before, during, and after your confirmed stay.
KENTUCKY DERBY: All Kentucky Derby week/weekend reservations are non refundable, regardless of whether or not a rental agreement has been signed.
RECORDING DEVICES: Recording devices are located on the exterior of the property. Devices record audio and video and recordings are triggered by motion. Devices will be active during guests stay. Recording devices only capture views of the exterior. Guest safety and privacy are top priorities. These recording devices exist solely for the safety and security of our great guests!
NO SMOKING: Absolutely no smoking or vaping inside the home
CHECK IN: Contactless check in is available until 10 pm EST via keypad. Any guests planning to check in after 10 pm EST must notify the host in writing prior to 10 pm to make accommodations for after hours check in. The host may not be available to assist with any check in issues between 10 pm and 9 am EST
NUMBER OF GUESTS WE HOST: We expect to only host the number of people on your reservation only. For insurance and safety purposes, please make sure your reservation reflects the accurate number of people. Otherwise you may be subject to a fee and you may be asked to leave.

We came to town with a group of friends for the Bourbon trail and Thunder over Louisville. This was a great central location for all of that. The place is well stocked with everything you need. Having the pizza place across the street was a plus, great food and beer.
Wonderful location and a comfortable home. As described there are three bedrooms all were neat and clean. The kitchen and back yard were the main hang outs for us with the weather so nice! It was super close walking distance to NULU with great shops and restaurants. Short drive to Paristown, Germantown, Highlands and the Kroger!! Couple of minor things, if there was AC it wasn't clear where or how to contol it but we had nice nights to keep upstairs windows open, and since there is no dishwasher some of the kitchenware needed to be pre-washed. The management company was very reponsive. Would highly recommend it and hope to be there for our next Bourbon and Beyond music experience!! Thanks Bourbon Trail Rentals!!
My husband, son, daughter and grandbaby stayed here the first week of December for my daughter's graduation from Southern Seminary. It was absolutely perfect! The location was great and the layout fit our needs. The bedroom locations do lend themselves to families or really close friends but it was great for us. We would love to stay again.
Was really easy to check in and out. The spot is just a couple of blocks from everything we needed. Great place to use as a base for the bourbon trail. That was our purpose but I think we spent most of our time in NuLu.
The property was clean and me all of our expectations. It was nice that the owners stocked up things like paper towel, toilet paper, etc. I've been to a few places that are skimpy on those things and this made us feel good about staying here. The location was decent, the area is improving and only a few blocks walk from many restaurants.
Had a great time in Louisville although we weren't in our rental very much. That's partially due to the close proximity to NULU. The town is very walkable (or scooter-able) so we very rarely had to drive anywhere. Also a very convenient brewery and pizza restaurant directly across the street. Would definitely recommend. A+
Great location in a newer trendy area of Louisville. Cute older house has nice open brick walls, wood rafter. I feel the majority of the furniture is cheaper quality inside. If I’m going to be gouged x7 over derby weekend, I would expect better quality. Recommend for better costs, taking some time and hitting Estate Sales, garage sales, and marketplace to upgrade furniture and mattresses. No issue with host or checking in. $300 extra security deposit was strange compared to other stays too.

Hey Robert, thank you for staying with us during Kentucky Derby week. While we do charge a premium for these dates each year, the idea that we are "gouging" anyone is incorrect. We consider this unit a budget friendly unit and most guests believe it is extremely well appointed and a great value. For Derby week, we simply charge what other comparable units in our market are charging. We would have appreciated if you mentioned the gift basket that we left for you or how we promptly returned the security deposit which is an added layer of protection for accidental damage to the property and is an extremely common practice in our industry. We offer a very nice, affordable rental in an otherwise expensive area of town. There are higher end units available but they are also charging thousands more than us. Future guests please book with confidence, we offer an amazing space in an amazing location at a very affordable price point.
Very clean and easy to get around the area. Initial impression was “is this right place” as outside landscape overgrown. Inside well kept and fresh. Did have problems w Wi-Fi and got no reply from owner w email and text. However we were out more than in so it wasn’t a huge deal. Just inconvenient. Check in and out a breeze. No issues there.
Had no idea what to expect when planning a trip to Louisville. The house fit all of our needs. We were not planning to cook while we were there but i thought the kitchen was stocked enough to be able too if we changed our minds. We were comfortable with 5 people in the house. My mom was trying to figure out the history of the house but only found when it was built. We didnt walk any where but it was only a couple minutes drive to NULU area or the neighborhood at the end of the road. We had plenty of restaurants to pick from in the area. We had a wonderful stay at your place. Thank you so much.

Annual girls’ trip to Louisville with 2 other friends. All of us in our mid 50’s. The precise location of the property was a little sketchy. Dark, smelly and a moderate homeless population. 2 of us arrived after dark and this was a bit concerning. However, the next morning, we were pleased to discover that only a block or 2 away were fun eateries and shops, so this made up for it. We never left the 5 mile radius. The home itself was very outdated. I do understand that it is an older home and that is fine, but it definitely didn’t get much love. The owners of the property certainly didn’t put any money into it. The carpets desperately needed to be replaced and window treatments in the biggest bedroom would’ve kept the morning sun out. The items in the kitchen were very very random. We wanted to do some cooking and baking, but we didn’t have all the items that we needed. Just a brownie pan, is that too much to ask? The beds were comfortable and if you’re just looking for a place to sleep, this place gets the job done. Just a warning, the stairs are very steep, so for people with knee problems and young children, this might not be your place. The couch was a cheap IKEA couch. Not very comfy. So in summary, I’d say if you were looking for a nice, relaxing place to hang out, this might not be it. But if you’re just looking for a place to lay your head, this will do. It was an affordable option. I guess you get what you pay for.

We had a very pleasant interaction with Juli during the stay so we were a bit taken back to hear some of the feedback laid out in this review. First, the area is far from "sketchy". I can understand that if you are not used to a downtown, urban neighborhood how it could be a bit of a culture shock to some, but the area is very safe and walkable with (as Juli mentioned) tons of local shops, breweries, and eateries nearby. Juli had some specific questions regarding kitchen items prior to arrival and we addressed those for her. We even went out and purchased a specific item she mentioned prior to check in. I'm not sure where the stay went south for Juli, but we put a ton of heart and soul into our little listing....and we try to keep it affordable for folks to enjoy. Please book with confidence...with some simple communication during the stay we can correct any issue a guest might have.
This was a fantastic place to stay! We were quick walk from so much: restaurants, activities, breweries, etc! It was so easy to wake up and walk to breakfast… it made for a wonderful morning. The location was great! We enjoyed the rooms, lounged in the living room, and found it to be exactly what we needed. I would def stay again.
I and two friends had a fantastic stay. We stayed in NuLu on the excellent advice of a friend, and couldn’t have been happier that this home was in walking distance of so much to see, eat, and drink. The home is clean and decorated in an eclectic mid-century modern style that felt welcoming and fun, perfect for a friends weekend away. We didn’t need to use the kitchen much, as the restaurants in the area were such a highlight of the trip, but it was well appointed and very clean. The only note I’d offer to be aware of is that the layout of the bedrooms might not be suitable for everyone, as they were all sort of connected and didn’t allow for a ton of privacy. But for us it worked out fine. Also, there is a very cool brewery across the street that had a pretty raucous Saturday night crowd that made it a little tough to fall asleep, but it seemed to be a one-off event and not a nightly problem. We would stay there again, for sure.
