Lake Hartwell on McKinney Point, near Clemson!

Lake Hartwell point lakefront lot offers something for everyone. Spend your time relaxing on the porch, strolling the private 1/4 mile nature trail around the point, paddling your canoe or kayak around the quiet cove. Enjoy time at the lake sunbathing, swimming, floating, fishing, on wave runners and boating. End the day gathering by the fire pit outside or playing games. This getaway offers privacy and plenty of parking. Public boat ramp is 1/2 mile away.

Pets that are house trained are welcomed to the property HOWEVER, there will be an additional cleaning fee of $50 per pet.

Guests have private access to the house, yard and nature trail. House is located on the end of a small road so definitely out of the way if looking to unplug.
Other things to note
We are 35 minutes away from Clemson if looking for a game day getaway.

The kids love having their own area to sleep and play in the loft bedroom but works great for friendly adults too!

Lake is 200 feet from the house.

Boats and kayaks are available for rent on the lake. We have kayaks for adults and kids, inner tubes and noodles available to float in the lake and plenty of outdoor games for everyone to enjoy.

We had a great time! The house was clean, beds were comfortable, kitchen was well supplied for cooking, and we enjoyed walking down to the lake on the nature trail. Our dog enjoyed it too. We would stay here again!

We rented the property in November 2025, and it was a fantastic stay! Welcoming host, the house was clean and and had a lot of space, which was perfect for our dog to roam around. The location is great, just a short walk to the lake, which made for some great morning views. We also took advantage of the nearby hiking trails, with stunning natural scenery and waterfalls: Riley Moore Falls. It’s an ideal spot if you're looking to relax by the lake, enjoy nature, and have some space for your pets. Highly recommend!

We came up from Florida for my Granny's funeral. Some of our Georgia family stayed at the house with us. The warm home like atmosphere was enjoyed by all of us. Playing some of Granny's favorite games helped us feel comforted. Thank you for allowing us to spend "family time" at your lovely home.

Beautiful home and a great location

This home was very clean, organized, pretty, in a great location, and had everything we needed for our five day stay. It was close to many parks with waterfalls and some very cute little towns with great restaurants and shops.We loved being able to walk the short path to the lake and spent afternoons floating and kayaking. The host was very helpful and quick to respond. We highly recommend this property.

Perfect family getaway

We had a great time with all our kids and their families. The property is well stocked and offers plenty of room for the 12 of us. The fire pit is perfect and the walk to the lake was a nice addition thank you for sharing your home

Another amazing stay. This place isn’t just for summer lake activities, it’s great in winter. Lots of nearby hiking trails, great nearby towns, fire pit, too many things to list. Will be staying again!

Lake and rafting

We had a great time on the lake and rafting. The house has an amazing private beach and we were only 30 min away from whitewater rafting. The whole family had an amazing time.

What a great house on the lake. There was plenty of room for all 8 of us. Stuart was a great host and answered every question we had. I would highly recommend this location. We will definitely be back.

Family trip

The home and property were large and lovely. The kitchen was well equipped, perfect for family meals and gathering. Everyone enjoyed sitting by the fire pit, hiking on the trail (the view at the point was beautiful), and swimming in the lake. There were plenty of floats and yard games to keep everyone entertained. While it didn't effect our group, the one discrepancy was that there is only 1 bed in each of the downstairs bedrooms, the description notes 2 queen beds in the second bedroom. There are 2 queens and 2 singles in the loft however, which is a great space, especially for kids/ young adults. Our family is already discussing plans to visit this property again.

Very relaxing

Stuart was very easy to work with. The house was very private and cozy. Loved the trail to the water. Also very accommodating to our schedule checking out late. Would definitely recommend and will be back!
