Amazing Lake / Mountain Setting

Relax with the whole family at this peaceful place on Lake Hartwell. Far enough to get away, close enough to want to stay. Less than 2 hours from Atlanta, GA and Charlotte, NC and is only 33 minutes from Clemson, SC. In the spring, fall and winter it feels like a mountain home and is only 45 minutes to waterfalls and hikes. In the summer, it is the perfect lake spot!

A quaint, quiet little street with no road noise at all. The house is fairly secluded with only one other house visible from the property. At night, the stars feel like you can touch them. Make sure to take some time at mint to go to the dock or sit on the porch to view the magnificent display

Cozy Cottage

We had a wonderful family Vacation! The house was very clean and had more than enough room between the 2 levels to meet our needs. The screened porch was a very nice plus and we enjoyed it just as much the dock by the lake:). The arcade in the basement is a very nice touch as well… kids and adults alike loved playing it!

Perfect Stay + House Has EVERYTHING!

This house has everything! Major props for cleanliness, tasteful decor, and really comfortable beds and bedding (it's the little things). We made a fire in the outdoor fireplace, read and played on the beautiful screened in porch, made coffee with the espresso machine, played more games of Pacman than we could count, enjoyed table games, and took the boats out on the beautiful lake. Unlike a lot of vacation homes, this felt like someone's actual house with really nice appliances and cookware (not a bunch of old used stuff). They have everything you need for the lake -- life jackets, floats, paddles. Chris was super helpful and responsive via phone/text. The lake views are gorgeous and dock is super accessible. The driveway is steep but we had no trouble getting in and out with our van. Amazing stay, highly recommend!

Wonderful Holiday Weekend!

We had a nice Labor Day Weekend! The weather did not cooperate but there were plenty of games, great kitchen with everything we needed to cook and enjoy our time! The beds were comfortable and the porch nice for morning coffee. Drive is steep but we knew that and had plenty room to park. And… the game table, Huge hit!! The owners are very kind! Definitely recommend 😎

I grew up on Lake Hartwell. As a matter of fact, my great grandparents home was covered up when they made the reservoir in 1955! I learned to swim here, ski, tube, kneeboard, wakeboard, and wake surf!

As a family we love spending time together out in God's creation. We LOVE the lake. In the past year, the lake has overcame the beach as the favorite trip. Last year, the kids learned to wakeboard and they are 100% hooked.

Why they chose this property

It is the perfect blend of lake and mountains! You can drive 30 minutes to waterfalls, mountains and amazing hikes or walk down to the lake and experience all the fun of Lake Hartwell!

Or if you simply want to sit on the screened porch listening to the waterfall, playing a game with your family, this will truly become Your Happy Place.

What makes this property unique

We have a man made waterfall on the property, right next to the house. You can sit near the fire pit and enjoy the soothing sound of the cascading water.
