We enjoyed the views and the peace that came with the location. The cabin was adorable and very clean. It had all of the "home" items one would need during a stay.
The pictures don’t do justice to this fabulous cabin. The views are expansive and beautiful. Comfortable beds and furniture. The kitchen is well-kitted out with all you need to cook. Communication with the owners was easy and they were very responsive. We even enjoyed a hotdog roast over the delightful outdoor fire ring. We would stay again in a heartbeat!
The view is just awesome, the interior of the cabin is fantastic Just a great place to stay to just kick back and relax! Definitely will be back next year
Clean, well appointed, gorgeous setting. We loved the view, the coziness and the privacy. The starlings, corn and wind all made it perfectly atmospheric. It was the perfect backdrop for a writing retreat!
Enjoyed thanksgiving at this charming cabin. The views are spectacular. Cabin is warm and well insulated. It had everything we could ever meed or more.
It snowed and was very pretty to watch the aunrise over canada
Great area for walking. Just perfect
We found the property very clean and well supplied.
Large assortment of towels and some hygiene products.
Plenty of kitchen accessories.
Beautiful views and great location
Very nice quality, agricultural setting with sunflowers, potato fields etc. Used as base for successful moose hunting in region 6. All three guests loved it. Enjoy!
An awesome cabin with lots of thoughtful design and decor
My wife and I got away to Paul’s cabin for a couple of days before new year. We needed a quiet break and this cabin was perfect. Restaurants nearby but plenty of privacy. The decor was perfect and the design of the cabin was well thought out. We can’t wait to come back in the summer to do some hiking and spend more than just a couple of days. Paul was great as a host and communicated well. 5 stars!
Our family stayed here for a ski getaway at Big Rock in Mars Hill. The property is on the back side of the mountain, just minutes from the ski area. As convenient and close as the location is to Mars Hill and local amenities, it felt like it was a world away from everything. We enjoyed snowshoeing and tobogganing behind the cabin.
The house itself was cozy and compact but comfortable and warm for our family of 5. We loved it.

Clean and cozy with a very well stocked kitchen and excellent views. A number of small details made this cabin homey and convenient, like lots of places to hang wet towels, board games, and a plethora of throw blankets for snuggling on the couch after a cold day of skiing. An easy 10 minute drive from Bigrock Mountain with hosts who were very responsive. And did I mention a well stocked kitchen?? Our favorite rental to date (and there have been lots). A person couldn’t possibly be disappointed with this rental.
It was great to stay in a lovely property so close to my family farm. I could relax after working and cook my meals
I met the owner who was very cordial and welcoming.
Everything about the cabin was perfect! Peaceful, beautiful, we loved everything. Unfortunately, the weather did not cooperate so we were not able to explore the area as much as we would've liked but we are actually kinda glad because that will give a reason to go back again and enjoy this beautiful piece of heaven. Thank you!!
I was overly happy with our stay here. The place was cute, clean, peaceful, and had everything we needed for the few nights we spent here. Pulling up it seemed a lot smaller than I had pictured, but once we were inside it was absolutely perfect. Hot water worked great, beds were comfy, and the smell of the wood interior is a great attribute. The sunrises over the mountains was the cherry on the sundae. Thank you to the hosts for a pleasant experience.
A very nice cabin off a country/mountain road. The quiet secluded nature of this cabin is what we enjoyed the most. We would stay there again and would recommend this property to anyone.
Exceeded expectations - as a husband and wife of a large family, my wife and I want to be quiet get away for our anniversary. This cabin, of new construction, smelled of fresh pine, and was fully stocked with everything you need for day-to-day luxury of home. Unique attributes of the property, was a photo album of the construction of the cabin. Absolutely gorgeous views, tucked into the shadows of big rocks keys resort. Off the beaten path, with the perfect amount of solitude. If you’re looking for a quiet getaway this is a must!
