I can’t possibly write enough good things about this stay. We have stayed a lot of places and this was by far the best. The place and the hosts far exceeded our expectations. We will definitely try our best to stay again if it’s available on our next visit. I don’t even want to consider any other place to stay.
This property was perfect. The property was clean and decorated so nicely. We had everything that we needed. There were towels to use for when we went to the local spa, they had a state park pass that we could use if needed. The place was conveniently located downtown with walking distance to many restaurants, spa services. I would highly recommend this property to anybody. We were there for an all class reunion, and I really appreciated the photos of the history of the building that we were staying in and the photos they had from the history of the town. It is a special place.
Had a really great stay in Hot Springs! The location is on the main street and is very charming. Very clean and comfortable. Husband kept mentioning how the decor reminded him of a Spanish villa. Spacious, roomy, great kitchen which we used for every meal but one. Loved the access to the laundry room, park pass, and extra games in the hallway. Wish we could have stayed longer!
The property was beautiful, clean, well equipped with everything we needed. The added extras of laundry, beach towels and games were above and beyond. Carrie was quick to respond to questions. Because the hot springs spa was not open until the day we were to check out, Carrie was very generous to extend us a late check out so we could enjoy the spa before leaving the area. I would stay here again and would recommend it to anyone going to Hot Springs SD. Thank you.
What a great place to stay! It was spacious, quiet ,comfortable and modern. They had everything available from a hamper for dirty clothes to a park pass for the State Park near by. The last night we were there we had a sleepover with our 5 year old granddaughter ( her 1st sleepover) and she had a blast with Gammy and Pop Pop, sleeping on the sofa sleeper.
Our hosts were personable and easy to work with, making sure we had a great experience. The number of steps up to the apartment could be a deterrent but was not an issue for us.
We would highly recommend this property. We will definitely be staying there again!
This apartment is beautifully furnished and tastefully decorated. The self-check-in was easy. I arrived a little before 5 p.m. When I walked in, the hosts had several lights on for me, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. A nice selection of literature is available, including Emerson’s Essays, which features a sweet, inscribed personal message from a wife to her husband. Small details like this make the apartment so charming. The bed was comfortable, the kitchen was stocked with all the necessities, and the host thoughtfully provided K-cups, ground coffee, and on-site laundry. I briefly met Carrie, the host, and she was wonderful. The apartment is conveniently located a short distance from Moccasin Springs, where I enjoyed a relaxing massage and soaking in the outdoor pools. I highly recommend staying at the Evanston Suite; you won’t be disappointed!

Why they chose this property
We fell in love with The Evanston building and its location in the heart of Hot Springs' historic downtown district, which is full of beautiful old sandstone buildings! We love being able to walk to restaurants and many attractions from our building or hop in the car for a quick drive to swim in Cold Brook Lake, Angostura, or Cascade Falls.
